RX-20 jet size? Glides?
Hey guys..........long time not here.
No Username....cant remember my old on.
Anyway.......I need glides for an old rx-20 I have. I used this pup a few jobs ago....cleans very nicely.
A little clumsy using without glides.
What jet size?

Re: RX-20 jet size? Glides?
Call Joe on this one, he set me up when I picked up my rx-20. I don't recall the jet size, but he hit the mark with his advice and got me a great deal on some green glides.
Is this the horizontal motor or vertical model...might make a difference. I will check on my jets in the morning and let you know.

Re: RX-20 jet size? Glides?
We only operate RX 20's. I use only 4 of the 5 jets on my rx heads and use 80015 jets. When I was using all 5 jets I used 8001. I make my own glides and can send you the info on how to do it, or you might want to try Green Glides.
Re: RX-20 jet size? Glides?
I never capped a jet on mine...just turned down the pressure a little to reduce over-wetting. Does that one less jet really make that much difference?
Sorry, I didn't get to check my jet size due to yet another major hail storm (4th one in less than a month) that dumped 1.25 inches of rain at my house in less than 20 minutes!!!
I will check it tonight, but I think the man above has it right, they might be 01 jets and I forgot about those cool home built glides....great option!

I turned down the pump to 300psi
I still noticed water spitting form the plate when in operation.
The motor is mounted vertical.

Re: RX-20 jet size? Glides?
my jets are 8002 i believe.....could be the fan width is to much and thats why the over spray....can you get a picture???
Re: RX-20 jet size? Glides?
I have played around with it over the years. Four jets are optimal for me. Three slowed me down too much, and five over wets.
