transfer pumps heating up
My friend says his transfer pump from his fresh water tank to his unit is shutting down intermittently due to overheating, about 90-100F here in Jersey. Anybody use these? 2 year warranty and some big claims, check it out-

Re: transfer pumps heating up
What kind of TM is he using. Most of the time the problem is the psi switch on the pump head, it's not Being off or on but being off/on repeatedly. The SW isn't made to do that every few seconds. Look at product reviews there none most of these pumps are for farm/gardening use even so the surflo or flow jet pumps have issues if the TM has a solenoid valve to fill the water Bx instead of a float valve. There is a longer throw most times on the float valve which means a longer of time for the pump. The HM 3.2 spitfire always had issues, these units do better with a bladder tank system they cost more but last longer. Hope this helped.
