6 cyl or 8?

I know on my V8 Triton it's on the R side of eng below the exhaust manifold, as it is on most eng.

You can see it by looking threw the R wheel well on most cars.

If you locate it, and get to it you can jump the leads and turn it over,
The small lead is the starter solenoid
Take screw drive and bridge that to the big battery cable coming down to the side of the starter. If starter itself is not bad it will turn it over.
A lot of times the solenoid is what goes bad.
Oh and make sure your in park sometimes that doesn't engage very well
or like me set parking break turn of van and forget to put it in park.

Ford likes to have a separate solenoid from the starter. If that is the case, real easy repair and start carrying a spare.

I have done that before my parking brake works real good always set it before I put the van in park so it doesn't put the tranny in a bind Shocked
