just thought I would show how our wands are set up in case it happens to help anyone.      It saves trips to and from the spotter bag

cell phone case from home depot for the fels bar,  in the tool section you can find them.    and then a regular velcro strap holds the carpet scissors

I second that, it works really well. I don't have scissors but I do have the hose holder. The on you strap to your vac hose and hook it on something so it wont slide down the steps.
