looking to either buy a small TM like an EZ or find a deal on craigslist and rebuild  one.

There isnt much on CL in our area now but this turd is 3500

hours are kinda high but what I am looking to do is strip it down to complete simplicity,   just keeping the essentials.

motor,  blower,  pump,   engine,  etc       dont need heat exchanger just vac and pressure

That would be a pain to rebuild and expensive . Be patient and wait for a nice condition hydra cat, they can be found in good shape for around $3000 , or a beat up one for $500,

I have owned 2 of them, great machines, basically hydra masters version of a Judson.

Even if you found a beat up one for 500 it could be worth it, strip and sand blast the frame, powder coat , slap on new components and there you got a brand new machine for a fraction of the cost.

cool, thanks Andy. I dont know much about older TMs and see deals on CL from time to time.

Ill keep my eye out for a hydra cat. I was thinking even a little spitfire if it was real cheap wouldnt be bad either.

What size TM are you looking for. I know were there is a bruin II at coolant Hx is missing but motor, blower, and cat pump are good as far as I know. If interested send a pm or call me.
