Hard wood cleaning
I personally have a film/ residue on our hard wood. We just can't get it off and clean. Not sure how to resolve this so I offer to you guys. Here are a couple pictures.
Not the best but if you look close you can see the film/residue.

Re: Hard wood cleaning
I don't actively sell wood floor cleaning but I did test the Laminator Plus product on my brothers wood floors. I used the restore product to clean and then applied the finish. There was an area in front of the stove were the finish had faded and it didn't help in that area.
I was afraid that it may peel or fade prematurely but it's been about 3 years and still looking good.

Re: Hard wood cleaning
Looks like it actually could be wood floor wax, or a residue being left by mopping/cleaning like Mo said?
How is it being cleaned, and with what?
Solid hard wood, Ryan? Pre-finished, or finished after installed?
How old is it?

Re: Hard wood cleaning
I do a lot of these - real good money and results from it. Pour some denatured alcohol on a the floor and wipe it with a clean white cotton towel. If it is wax (mop n glow, or any other type of "wood floor" wax product it will come up on the towel). I do a lot of these. My process is below. If the floor is at all uneven - as most are be prepared to follow-up with a sandless refinish process. I have found that on 7 of 10 jobs you will create some dull spots in the existing urethane during the wax removal process. I let the customers know this in advance and most tell me to just do both (wax removal & sandless process).
Wax Removal:
1. Spray a 4’x4’ area with denatured alcohol
2. Scrub the area with a low speed buffer and a green pad (if the wax is really heavy you may need to use a black, burgundy, or emerald pad – make sure you keep the low speed buffer moving so you don’t damage the floor)
3. Continue steps 1 and 2 until the entire floor in complete
4. Spray denatured alcohol in small lengths around the edges of the room
5. Scrub the edges using a clean white towel, make sure you get into the corners
6. Inspect the floor again from multiple angles to make sure that ALL of the wax has been removed. If you find any wax use the spray bottle and towel (or center cut of the green scrub pad), and elbow grease to remove it.
7. Either use a spray buff cleaning solution to clean and polish the floor or use a sandless refinish process.
