Its getting pretty bad in California

The drought situation in Cailifornia is getting critical. The snow pack is almost non existent, the winter was hot and n rain fall. The bark beetle is killing trees, the water tabe is low you have one years worth water supply in the reservoir.

What are you going to conserve water. The governor maybe banning carpet cleaning

                                                         

There are so many car washes being built and they are everywhere, do they recycle that water?

That could force an encap service only policy.

Nebraska sits on one of the largest reservoirs in the US, it is presently raining buckets.....not all bad.

Funny thing is that if the NASA guy was correct, Vegas is sitting on a massive reservoir as well.  He spotted it looking for oil, but Nevada refused to allow him to drill.

There seems to be water Nazis in parts of the country.  California might ban carpet cleaners, but never car washes or lawn sprinklers....will never happen with all that money out there.

But if they ever did.....I would relocate rather than getting in a bidding war with 200 encap cleaners.  I work too hard for 6 cents per sqft.

I think I'd just retire, after getting caught cleaning 48 times breaking the law.

Just kidding about the carpet cleaning   But So Cal should have rock lawns and cactus for plants like Phoenix does

Ahhhhhhhh we're working on that now. The city of Long Beach now actually pays prop owners to replace their grass lawns with low moisture plants........for that nice desert scape look.

I think now a days car washes do recycle water....

and yea they cut off watering the lawn...

I know out here in Utah they have 2 types of water...Culinary (drinking) and secondary (irrigation)

Cul, is priced per gallon with so much allotted.... But secondary is priced so much per year and thats it....

My wifes cousin works for the dept of (cant remember the name, lol....) but the one that deals with water and damns....

Anyway she said one of the things they are trying to figure out how to  enact is to put meters on these... but its $$$$ and they cant come to the same ground as to who pays for them to be bought and installed... but i am telling you what, they need to get it done sooner then later.
WE are on culinary, and I watch the watering for sure, I like my showers to damn much

In LB, CA we are legally able to water our lawns 3 days a week between the hours of 5pm -8am.
And No washing down driveways or side walks at anytime.

Im hoping for rain and good weather through out the country because EVERYONE is moving here...    its getting annoying seeing the roads clogged up with alabama plates

I think they already have bans or fine for watering lawns Mo,   I remember reading oprah winfrey got thousands in tickets from having sprinklers on and she just paid it all no problem when you have 3 billion.  


My friend works for the fire dept in Escondido and says its really bad there,   wild fires are worse each year and the droughts arent helping.        


you guys in Cali could easily start up the controlled pressure washing,    probably would just kill it...   full water recovery with recycle system.

What's annoying is some cities like San Marino actually banned astrology turf and will fine residents for having brown lawns, so they only can water the lawns 3 times a week and HAVE to have green lawns, where's the logic in that ?

I would just get some of that new fake grass that looks real lol, its funny because you pretty much have to lay in it to know its fake. Never needs mowing or water

I think people would still really want pressure washing in your area, with a good TM you already have a the expensive part of the equipment cost.

you need a good pressure washer, 4000psi/4gpm and then the filtration system to recycle the water plus the surface tool

its such a good business and so many ways to market.

people love it because you can clean with better products and recover them so your not getting it in their flower beds, you can pressure wash tough areas that cannot have lots of run off, then of course the earth friendly recycling water system

It does sound like a good service with easy marketing, but I would not use my TM for it. I would definitely purchase dedicated psi washers for the job and get after it.

well u need a vac to recover water, the ones ive seen are around same Hp as a TM. Just hit the pump clutch, pressure washer is for the water supply, TM pressure isnt nearly enough you need like 4000 available plus 4gpm

Long Beach, San Morino, Escondido....man I miss California BUT only long enough to say it. I lived in Glendora and Escondido for a long time...moved to Oklahoma and met my wife....now im stuck! lol jk it's awesome here!....not all tha Ca rules, laws and regulations. much more freedom and cost of living is unreal compared. Nebraska must be much of the same way milspec6?

It sure is the same way....minus the wife in my case.

My aunt from California has a saying. If it's yellow let it mellow if its brown flush it down. I told her we had a saying of our own in Idaho. Be sure to flush California needs the water!

We can have cold winters in NJ from time to time, but few real droughts, no tornados, no earthquakes and one of the highest per capitas in the nation (highest auto ins. too!). Counting my blessings.

You guys in CA want to trade for a week?

38 degrees out with stinging rain behind 40 mph winds...already had some hail and might see snow before it is done.
