Inline/injection sprayers, what do you recommend?
Good friend was just asking advice about this, didn't know what to tell him. Adjustable concentration rate? 2 opening jug? Brand? PSI? liquid or powder TLC? I know Hydro Force was the original. Saw an article in the latest ICS mag, but need more info. Thanks in advance for the info.
Re: Inline/injection sprayers, what do you recommend?
dont ever buy the adjustable flow, or dial-a-mix I think they call it... those Dema blocks fail quickly, I had one about 3 yrs ago and it failed in about 1 month. The guy at the local jon don said they return as many of those as they sell.
Definitely get the jug with the fill opening on the back, it saves time and makes things easy
I use power-force, its the same thing as a hydroforce every part is the same.
powdered pre sprays are fine and we use them daily with no maintenance to the sprayer but we run Matrix all fiber rinse which keeps our lines, little giant, jets clean.

Get any sprayer you want, they are all the same. Just upgrade the jugs to one that fills from the back.
I buy the 7 qt jugs with the rear caps and use any brand of inline head on them. Spraymaster brand has been working okay, but there are others out there.

no I have the 7qt one Mo with the fill from the back. it is a powerforce though
wonder why that one is 200.00, maybe because it goes up to 1000psi? not sure if mine does or not

I guess I could be the guinea pig on that one, its a CWS brand too don;t know if thats good or bad I've never ordered anything from them either but they have good internet visibility
Re: Inline/injection sprayers, what do you recommend?

Re: Inline/injection sprayers, what do you recommend?
They are not all the same. The guns are different. the hoses are different. The connections are different. With that said I bought my last one from an interlink supplier (Superior Cleaning Supplies in Orem Utah just to plug one of the good guys) and it is as well made as they come.
I second the "no dial a mix" thought. I tried one and it didn't last much longer than a month. I also second the 7qt jug that is sold by spraymaster.
FWIW Gordon Hanks at Interlink formally known as Bridgepoint assembled the first inline sprayer for prespraying carpet. He didn't technically "invent" it because all the parts were being used in different industries already. He just brought them to the cc biz. Now everyone sells some version.

Okay, so some have brass jets and some have ss. Some use a better hose and some maybe a better trigger, but they all function the same. The only key difference for me is the psi ratings as some are only rated for 300 psi...that difference does matter.
I have 3 different brands in my van and I have rebuilt of them with a new pressure block and cap combo with the same results. Shoe fit each time.
Re: Inline/injection sprayers, what do you recommend?
so you ordered just the dema Mil and were able to get the cap on and sealed?
or you got a dema with a cap already on it?

Dema with cap installed....the seller on ebay.
Been hit and miss for longevity, but better than throwing them away.
