Re: Eco friendly Carpet Cleaning
Mo you really should stop while you're behind!!
Your opinion is based on a chem that's no longer even being made............As I've said many times before, 2790 has been changed since the Dino ages when you last used it.
If it was strong or toxic smelling in anyway I certainly wouldn't be using it..........being I do safe/non toxic cleaning. And have never had a customer complain or even mention the odor from it.

Re: Eco friendly Carpet Cleaning
I think most customers realize that for tile/grout its going to be a stronger cleaner.
Just saw some really good before/afters of the procyon tile/grout cleaner with no scrubbing
definitely going to give that one a try.
Mo, Ive been trying out the procyon powder lately and it kills it too... just going to use extreme for real nasties but gaining lots of confidence in the powder on some pretty well soiled carpets with no scrubbing!

Re: Eco friendly Carpet Cleaning
not the best pic but tried to get a shot of the soil before we finished the downstairs, thats the powder alone with no booster

That's good to hear, you're going to stick to cleaning T&G, and not pass up the money for doing it.

Really. That's good because the only thing I don't like about the liquid is that you need to use 4 oz per gallon and Im sure the power would go along way compared to the liquid. I guess I got spoiled with the 1-2 oz per gallon of the quantum.
You know what I've noticed Andy is pretty dang good at finding and testing cleaners. He turned me on to soils and oils, the HD Odoban and now Procyon

Re: Eco friendly Carpet Cleaning
That does look good AC. Did you see Toms pics with Odoban? I say we just pre spray hot water as our control just to make sure its not the other pieces of the pie that's doing the cleaning.
Hey OZ Cleaning thanks for starting this topic. Its awesome!!

Re: Eco friendly Carpet Cleaning
well ive tried cleaning with just matrix all fiber rinse and it will handle really really light soil but anything beyond that wont budge. I did see the odoban pics they looked pretty good, might give it a try on my own carpets just for the hell of it.
The one thing I really like about procyon powder and liquid is there is absolutely no foam, you can fill your hydroforce all the way to the top with no foam spilling out.
also noticed a big increase in vac power while cleaning with zero foaming, when you look at the window on the wand its mostly just brown liquid coming out instead of the usual white foam
