Firestorm prespray
Has anyone else tried this product from Pro's Choice?
I posted about it once before and tried ti again yesterday with the same results...clumps horribly and never really dissovles.
Just curious if anyone else can support or deny that fact? My local has been getting rave reviews on this stuff and wants to drop Extreme Clean for it. I hate that idea and want some support or to tell me what I'm doing wrong with it.

Re: Firestorm prespray
That's what I'm trying to find out without purchasing more.
Might try and get a sample.

have your supplier mix up a small batch himself. The proof is in the pudding.

Tried that today, no takers. Still claiming that nobody has complained about clumping except me.
Re: Firestorm prespray
Buyer beware, if even the supplier won't walk the walk. We know they can do the talk.

Ditch supplier! Tell the manufacturer?? get an answer or dont use it....I dont play when this crap happens.....they will make it right or FAIL! They can make claims all day but when you want to see....you want to see!

Re: Firestorm prespray
I used this today and my hot water from the tank wasn't hot enough, so I used a bleeder hose ( pressure hose with cut off end ) and it mixed well ( my water is around 130 - 140 degrees at the gauge ).
That stuff works really well.

Re: Firestorm prespray
How long did it take to mix fully? Maybe I have a bad batch, as mine never mixed well at all and I used my bleeder hose at 150 degrees.
Re: Firestorm prespray
It mixed fully right away, I filled the 5 quart jug about 1 quart of hot water, shook it really well and then fill it up and shook it again, didn't see any powder in the bottom of the jug.

Re: Firestorm prespray
That is the far opposite of what I encountered.....I will have to try the test package now to find out if I had a bad batch or something.
Re: Firestorm prespray
Did the powder clumped up before you put some hot water ?

Re: Firestorm prespray
No, I mixed it in a clean bucket like I do most powders and then poured the mixture into my sprayer. It mixed okay at first, but then it settled to the bottom and turned to a hard crystallized glob. Mind you, I mix it with a paint stirrer on a cordless drill, so it wasn't from lack of agitation.
Even when I added hot water directly to the glob, it wouldn't separate and remained a glob.

Re: Firestorm prespray
forget the toxic stuff from pros choice. Grease eraser works just as well and wont make your eyes bleed.
Dissolves' like a dream come true , has a pleasant sent and has a strange deodorizing power , I don't know how it does it , but the stuff nukes pet odors like nothing else.

Re: Firestorm prespray
What a pain that would be to have to use a paint mixer to mix your cleaning solution.
Re: Firestorm prespray
I agree with you Mo and Andy, I really don't have much need for a product like Firestorm, but I just want to know if my experience with it was an isolated one. For me, it was the worst product I had ever encountered, but it seems to just be me.
I've never used GE (no local source), but I am still very happy with Soils/oils. I think we are all very wise to move away from the harsh stuff as it really isn't needed.

A while back for the first time to make sure extreme clean was fully mixed I used wifes house mixer and a canning kettle in the kitchen. It was liquid with foam on top but dang everyone had to evacuate house:( . The next time I heated on the barbacure and used drill mixer. lol

Re: Firestorm prespray
Oh, that stuff. I didn't recognize it at first, but the Clean Free is similar to Masterblend's Soap Free. They both use carbonation like you would use club soda to blot a stain on your shirt.
I've only used Soap Free on upholstery, which was pretty effective, but wasn't as impressed as a prespray. I think they make a very good emulsifying agent in your rinse tank, but not sure about a prespray.
Andy, have you ever tried the Soap Free....do they compare or does the Clean Free do a better job as a prespray?

Re: Firestorm prespray
I haven't used master blends soap free, but I do know that clean free has other ingredient's in it that soap free lacks, such as phosphates ,
and I do know that clean free is a killer pre spray Grease eraser also contains phosphates .
Phosphates are non toxic to people, and clean like mad.
clean free is from interlink, grease eraser is from jon don
Grease eraser is my all time favorite for over 10 ph , and clean free is my new favorite for under 10 Ph
With those two on the van , I will do nothing but hate all other pre sprays,

Re: Firestorm prespray
they list it on sale about every 3 months, 135 for a bucket , .
regular price I think is around 165
7 pound jar about 40 somthing, sale price is 30 something
one thing to keep in mind, recommended dilution of 3 oz per gallon is for grease pit restaurants or trashed residential,
1 to 2 oz per gallon is all you ever need 90% of the time
