Made in the USA....Not

Made in the USA....Not
I purchased a new guitar amp today (Epiphone Century) which is a retro design and sounds pretty darn good, but many have told me that the vacuum tubes should be changed out for better ones.
Here is the kicker, the amp is China-made and uses Chinese tubes. Many of the suggestions have been to replace the tubes with a Tung Sol tube set......which I believe is Russian.
So, when it comes to foreign built, I guess there are good communists and bad communists.
I like the amp though...real wood (birch) too.

It does look cool. You can't tell were some of this stuff is made nowadays.
Do you sound better when you play with an amp. The last time I got together with my bro. We both just played a cord over and over with amps and I thought we were jamming until I asked asked my wife and she gave me the thumbs down Maybe it was the beers that fooled us

Do I sound better? Not at all!!
At least it looks like I know what I am doing to deaf guy who lives across the street. He normally looks up at the window when he is walking his dog and gives me a thumbs up.
I'm pretty sure his dog is ashamed.

Damg Chinese can make anything. Even a hard boiled egg; made from all nonfood ingredients.
Heard about the BIG knock off mall they have.? As soon as a major product has started production, they are setting up another factory to knock it off.

Egg Rolls, fireworks, and this amp are about the only things from China that I like.
I guess 3 things aren't bad....that is 3 more than I like from Honduras.

Okay, I'll grant the bananas...not a coffee drinker.
