Post by Andy Mc Sat Oct 19, 2013 8:52 am

Got one sitting in the shed, picked it up form a generous local cleaner, he had pulled it from service 4 years ago and it's been in storage ever sense. He is moving out from the store unit and offered me the machine.

So looks like I got a nice little project to keep me bizzy over the winter. will keep updating this thread with pics and progress as I go forward.

Way intimidated by the complex design of the machine , but exited to get going none the less. Pics coming soon

BTW, This Is Andy Mc form the old board, couldn't figure out how to fill in my profile, lol

Those thing are like tanks they run for ever if you take care of them. Don't feel intimidated about the 405 to complicated as long its not a 405 Auto diverter those can be fun. Go to Prochem.com and you can down load the manual with parts # and wiring diagrams for free. Matter a fact I know where there are some used parts that will fit the 405 Hx. preheaters air pump things like that so if I can help give a shout.

Hope the Nissan motor is good. I have a buddy who has one (it's older) but he can't find parts for the engine. Good luck and they will last forever if taken care of.

Larry
Tell your friend to check with a fork lift service center as the 405 has a A15 commercial engine you want find parts at a car dealership . Depending on the parts you are looking for.
