Scene Lights
Anyone using scene lights on their trucks?
When I started out, I used a retired Type lll ambulance and one of the great things about them was the scene lights on the exterior of the truck. It had 3 on each side of the vehicle and could light up the area about 30 feet all around the vehicle.
I spend a lot of time cleaning at night and sometimes it can get pretty dark outside of some commercial jobs now that they use timers or motion detectors to control exterior lighting. So, I was thinking about adding some exterior scene lights to my vehicles...at least on one side and probably the rear for when I am loading up.
Anyone using them have any recommendations? I want to go with LED style of lights with a decent output. I even considered the ticket lights found in police cars as I have one of those cars and that light can literally blind you it is so bright.
Open to suggestions......

Re: Scene Lights
No lights here, I don't feel the need in CA, I don't do a lot of commercials, and in the winter we pretty much are done by 4 pm, only some days we work in the dark, we just use the interior dome lights for a couple minutes while wrapping up.

Done by 4 pm?
Man, I am jealous. I haven't been home by 5 in a decade now.
Probably why my plants are all dead in the house.

From January through April, we're slowing down a lot, if anything probably once a week we work pass 4 pm, but we also start pretty early in the day, around 7:30 - 8.

Re: Scene Lights
Nun here either, but I do have motion sensing led lights in my van which come in handy when caught in the dark.
