Magazine Featured Home
What a day this has been.
I spent a few hours cleaning that house for the magazine shoot and it turned out to be a great experience. The tour was great with one of the greatest attics I have ever seen in my life! I mentioned to the owner how the attic would make an awesome music studio......turns out he had a recording studio next door.
It gets better. He owns a production company in Nashville and showed me all the demo songs that they are working on right now as well as some of his successes. He has 2 songs right now being considered by Kid Rock and Aerosmith as well as the theme song for a tv pilot that might be getting picked up by the networks this fall.
I was in guitar heaven and got to play around with the studio instruments as well as take home some demo albums. We hit off well enough that he has offered to take me to Nashville this fall to meet some of the talent and even jam with some big name talent.
Crazy what can happen in this industry....

Re: Magazine Featured Home
That's cool Rob . You better get to practicing so you can jam with the big boys.
Re: Magazine Featured Home
I don't think I have a prayer....I need a whole lot of practice. It would make for a killer picture though just sitting next to an A-lister with guitars in play.
I remember lining up in front of a marathon with the elite runners once. I had no business up there, but I knew that they would have a photographer at mile 3 I think it was.
I just ran as hard as I could for those 3 miles for the sake of that photo. It has been my favorite photo as I was running neck and neck with an elite runner from Kenya....actually was in front.
I never saw any of those runners again as I had to pull to the side and suck down some gatorade to recover for awhile. Still, it made for a great photo and playing guitar next to big time recording artist would be just as cool.
I think I should forget the guitar practice and work on my smoking....better odds of success.

No, I don't smoke....just Looking at the crowd I would meet. I don't like Miller Lite either, but Rome might dictate that.
I will be scanning the photo shoot and try to photograph the studio, but this guy is flying under the radar and I didn't want to spoil his privacy with a camera.
Just a really cool day.

That I can do tonight.
Best part was tha I was really heavy that year (225 lbs) and the Kenyan was laboring hard. It looked like I was kicking his ass fat American style.
