How booked do you stay?
If someone calls and wants cleaning fast.....how far out are you to get them in. Average.

Re: How booked do you stay?
When I'm busy usually a week.
So I have to tell those people that don't think ahead, and call the day of or day before they need service to beat it!

Re: How booked do you stay?
I can go from 3 jobs on the books at start of week to 15+ by Tuesday.
Active customer, I'll do asap.
New customer, I don't do same day or asap or 48 hr notice. Don't want them to get use to the asap. Plan ahead I say.

Re: How booked do you stay?
So you all are saying if there's a customer called and said the last cleaner charged me $ 350 for 800+ sq ft of carpets and I need it done tomorrow, you're not going to bend over backward trying to stuff her in your schedule ??

Re: How booked do you stay?
I'll tell her to stuff it here Just kidding
It depends DP on how many I have scheduled that day. My three slots for the day are 9:00am, second appt, 12:00-1:00,and last slot after 3:00. If I have those 3 slots filled I would try and schedule her some other time. If the jobs for that day weren't that big I might. If I had a helper probably so.

I'd be willing to work late, maybe for her.........but I've yet to have that happen, still waiting.

Re: How booked do you stay?
I don't think I really have an average to go by. I have a roller coaster of a business, but if I had to say....probably a week would be about right.
Re: How booked do you stay?
Rookies!...just kidding! I gotta say I was pretty proud to be overwhelmed with work....this week is booked solid, and next week is close to the same...I did run the eddm and referrals are hitting as well...its been a while since ive been this busy. when I say booked its only two jobs a day with the exception of two days that have three one them...I also did a Saturday appointment because it was big and I didnt want to lose it.....I have lots to earn between now and the show...so Im all in for now. oh! and my knees hurt!
I recall back in the day being two weeks with scattered jobs and always like that. We try and schedule in a way that it leaves room for candy jobs.
Later!

Re: How booked do you stay?
I remember the days being booked 6 jobs a day for the upcoming week and some already on for next week. But I was young and business was good. Now I am never booked solid for a whole week and can fit in most people within two days.
