I received a call from Sharon she asked for a quote we scheduled a job for three rooms. Ten meets later I get a call that wanted a quote for three rooms. My response, It's the same price I gave you ten minutes ago Sharon laughing

She was so embarrassed. I thought she would end up cancelling but I cleaned for her on Friday. Hopefully it wasn't because of I was the cheapest Sad

Some times they check around just to see if its the "norm" weather your cheaper or more expensive. I blame that on the jacklegs!

The real funny thing is when they use price checking as a measure.....remember the guys who clean for $6.95 a room? we all know when they are done its not $6.95 a room.....not to mention even if they get taken for the premium from this company, they more than likely wont get the quality they think they are buying.....with a sketchy bait n switch attitude from the start it can get any better in my opinion. If they dont have ethics to begin with when do you think they kick in?

Theres just a lot of people out there with no soul lol they have nothing in their head that says bait and switch is unethical.

I was talking to a car salesman at a pool tournament near me a few weeks ago and he was bragging how he sold a 2004 f150 to an old man for 28k. He said it was a 17k win for the sale..

but he was mad because when the family of the old man found out they got a lawyer and claimed it was illegal under some law that doesnt allow you to do that to old folks.

just amazed me how heartless the guy was to be proud of cheating some old man

Vampires exist everywhere and not just the standard stereotypes. Just look at the jewelry stores with their 300% mark-ups as they smile at you. To make it worse, many times the diamond isn't actually real.

A tip for you guys this holiday season, there are maybe 3 flawless diamonds in the world, so if they claim to be showing you one, it is glass. I used to date a gemologist and even she bought several fakes without knowing it for years.

Ethics are a very rare commodity these days. Sad
