What do you carry in?
Aside from the obvious, what is common for you to carry in on a job? I know the wand and hoses etc...im curious about what you know you will without a doubt usually need on every job. After set up and pre spray what is there for you to use?

u mean what else besides wand, inline sprayer, hoses?
moving blankets, fans, table for upholstery, tarps for area rugs. just depends on the job

Re: What do you carry in?
lol....No AC, when you go into a typical job what do you take with you into the job when you start cleaning....in the way of spotters I guess. Its very common for me to without a doubt take in rust remover and POG. We have lots of oil field guys here and POG is a must...we also have other cleaners who dont use tabs and cause rust nearly at every job. So when I go "in" aside of the common stuff like the wand...I take POG and Rust remover.

Lol, unless I see something when I pre spray, I don't bring anything, but I usually work with a tech so one of us will get whatever is necessary in cleaning spots as we clean and we usually will put them back right away because we are bad in forgetting stuffs behind sometimes.

Re: What do you carry in?
honestly the pre spray mix and high heat wipes most everything we come across, if not fels will take it for any dark stain like tar/oil etc most anything black comes out from main mix, but the rare heavy ink or something needs fels.
then you have your reds, greens, and blues etc those are always handled separately so we only bring in the spotters if we need them.
pre spray will handle oil based, food based, dirt based, anything organic like coffee tea pee, and most wine stains. Dyes are what become more difficult but Devon if your having to use something for oil spots separately then imo you need a better pre spray
If your using what I think you may be using I would explore a bit more.. I have half a drum sitting that will prob never see another carpet job

Re: What do you carry in?
I don't care with PS you're using, you're still going to run into troughs black tar/oil type spots sometimes that need a solvent type spotter to remove. If not, I guess you're really lucky, or just not removing them.
Seems every job I've worked with DP on we've needed it.

Re: What do you carry in?
What I use most comes out with pre-spray but being in a serious oil producing area where most guys work in the oil field...I get some serious sticky tar like oil that needs a little attention at times.
What are the wipes?

Re: What do you carry in?
fels should take care of it, but ya thats probably some serious tar from the oil field
once you guys scrub your pre spray in do u still need to spot a lot of oily black spots?

Re: What do you carry in?
I rarely run into oily spots that my prespray didn't already remove. Maybe it is the longer dwell time, but it is a rare problem anymore really.
Re: What do you carry in?
Its not a problem....as a matter a fact it gets me lots of work because when the custy tries it usually spreads and panic happens....Its a common call.

Re: What do you carry in?
Some times with just pre spray it comes up....BUT we get the oil field guys who have more than the common mechanic AND its from the direct source....some tough stuff at times...I'll get a pic next chance I get.
