Tom's wand Empty Tom's wand

I just discovered (late as usual) that Tom is no longer producing the "Devpro" swivel wand that he created. Instead, he is now back to the drawing board and looking to build something else.

The reasoning given is found on his website, but I really wonder if it was due to slow sales. It looked very interesting, but I just don't think people are interested in swivel tools. The Mytee design has never been a good seller and that swivel stair tool has found itself tossed in the back of many garages never to be seen again.

At least he is still looking to design a new wand.....curious to see what he comes up with as this industry needs independents to keep coming up with tools for cleaners based on field experience and not engineers in a cubicle.

I was pretty close to getting a swivel wand but just never got around to it. I really dont mind my vt14 its a decent wand and gets the job done.

I put the ergo handle from Joe on there and now I really like it

That ergo handle has made the difference for several of my wands. Sometimes it is all about small changes.

I did the handle, new jets all 02s with the 95s on the outside and 110s in the middle, polished it up as much as I could and readjusted the shear kit.

It still seems to spray on the glide and on the carpet but cant seem to be able to adjust the shear kit to hit carpet directly... at least it will never streak this way and still cleans good.
