New Sales Technique that works

Okay, this isn't really a new method. Actually it has been around for a very long time, but I managed to tweak it a little.

I was leaving the grocery store about an hour ago and spotted this really pretty woman exiting as well. Actually, every male and some females probably within eye shot discovered her as well. You could see them all trying to get a look without the wife catching them.

Well, I decided to try something and rushed up next to her and walked out with her. I was still in my work uniform and thought that it would be an easy way to get some exposure.....and it did! As we reached the parking lot, one of the guys shouted out to me "Hey Gunny". It turned out to be a person who used to be in the Marines with me a hundred years ago.

We started talking and it turns out that he is an Orthopedic Surgeon now and manages a medical center that treats sports injuries. The best part was that he was actually looking for a cleaner that was "certified" to do warranty cleanings of the building.

We meet tomorrow to go over the details.

Unfortunately, no connection to me, but she drew attention. That was the point, she drew the attention and by walking with her, I ended up center stage as well.

That guy would never have spotted me otherwise.

Iv'e always wondered if local cable television ads would be effective in my area.I have only seen one carpet cleaning company try it here. It was a 15 second spot and the ad wasn't on for very long.

I wonder if he stopped because it wasn't effective or if it was too expensive? In my opinion it wasn't on long enough to make the determination if it worked or not but then again it wasn't my advertising money

My guess is that it was way too expensive Mo. The local stations around here were telling me that it was $10,000 for a 30 second spot being played daily for a week.

I actually think that window decals would work better. We have a tattoo shop in town that started out by distributing window decals with its name. You saw them all over the place and never knew what it was about.

After about a month, it was a well known name and now he has 2 shops and a nightclub in less than 2 years.

It really had quite an impact. I am planning on using that triangle off my website for a simple static window decal that I can leave behind after I clean a place. In time, maybe it will catch on.

Wow that is expensive. I would imagine the cost would depend in the area.

So you give these window decals to businesses and the actually put them on their windows? I certainly couldn't imagine residentials putting them on their windows.

The idea behind the static decal is more for commercial and it will state "Clean and Sanitized by".

They are just static cling decals so they are removed easily if they don't like them, but for medical buildings, day care centers, food establishments, etc., I think they will be liked and build a good image.

That's really smart haha Great way to advertise for nothing and maybe get the chance to get a connection with beautifulwomen. Very smart actually, I'm really impressed.
