Busy day ahead Empty Busy day ahead

My roller-coaster business is still running to both extremes. I haven't had a job in 4 days, but have 5 buildings scheduled for Thursday night that totals over 16,000 sqft and only 12 hours to complete it, so I will be running non-stop to finish on time.

After that, I go back into seclusion with only small residential jobs on Sunday and Monday. I just can't seem to spread my workload out nor can I fill in the gaps of my schedule. With winter slowdown coming (62 degrees today) I would really like to finish strong, but it just doesn't seem to happen.

With as much square foot as you clean you need the rest in between

Do you think you area gets a holiday rush. I can tell you in my neck of the woods it the holiday rush starts in November and dies Mid December.

I would do another blast of flyers or direct mail two or three times in those areas that you did a couple of months ago maybe add another neighborhood as well.

I don't know if the holiday rush exists around here for certain as this is the first year that I have targeted residential. I have seen that it depends on when the snow moves into the area.....first heavy snow means season is done for residential.

Myself, I would try to fill the schedule with a facebook.

Promote a "special" for a certain dollar amount off the ticket or a percent off, for certain days you want to fill. Try to promote the special a week in advance.

That's a pretty good idea Freemind, I think I will try that one. A recent customer of mine posted a nice endorsement to Facebook, probably should take advantage of that and add to it.

Looks like the problem has taken care of itself for now.....booked 3 jobs for Saturday and another large one for Sunday.

No football for me, dance card has filled for the next 5 days.

That would sure do it....the most I have done solo was a little over 18,000. You must have some efficient techs to do that , even with 2 trucks. Sounds like you have your game perfected.
