Sup guys, been a while. Hope business is going well for all of you. Been super busy preparing for busy season and at the same time working hard on my dog training which is still more of a hobby but starting to become my a big part of my life. I have a new belgian malinois puppy, 5 months old that I am training as a working dog. Going to attempt to title him for IPO, tracking, protection, and detection.

Got the big truck wrapped finally after having it 3 years, wasnt cheap or easy with all the roll up doors but very happy with how it came out.

Kaija my mastiff is on the left, shes 1.5 yrs old

Kobra is my malinois on the right. He's the real deal, from very strong working dog bloodlines. All the puppies in his litter are either MWD (military working dogs) or being used for detection/ protection work.

If you guys are on instagram my account is @kaija_and_kobra

and my business one is @hydracleannw

I LOVE what you did there!! I was going to do that same thing last year, but just didn't want to spend the money. It really makes me want to keep my box truck now....it looks great.

How much did it cost you? I forget what I was quoted....$7000 or something I believe. I was just thinking about how I need to put something on my truck for visibility. That is so tempting.

As for business, it is slowly growing. I am only booking about 3-4 jobs per week right now, but the commercial side is rolling in pretty steady. I was actually told today by them that I will be "extremely busy this Summer" with all their scheduled events. I like the sound of that.

milspec6 your truck is awesome. It's been a while since I've been here. My old computer died about the same time I changed email addresses.

I'd like to see some pictures of the inside and see your set up. I just finished a truck mount project myself on a smaller scale. My twenty-five year old grandson who's been working with me since he was twelve has decided taking over papa's business one of these days isn't such a bad idea. He's been handling the night restaurant route to pay his way through college for four years. Everyone 's excited.

Well, once I get the heater running Friday I expect to roll it out this weekend for the maiden voyage. I will give it a showing then. I still might go back and re-plumb the TM a little with a larger hose running off the pump to the heater as I think it pulsates too much for longevity.

Just a few more tweaks to go.

Looks great AC !
$ 7000 for a wrap ? Damn ! I know I can get a full cargo van wrap here in LA area for around $ 3000.
Cool looking dogs too AC ! What's IPO ?
Are you training him professionally or just yourself with YouTube's help ?
We're not busy yet, on average just about 10 - 12 jobs / week, but then it's still April, I'm expecting to pick up next month.

Thanks guys. Glad to hear your doing well.

I got the wrap done for 3700.00 but they made a mistake. I confirmed it was a full wrap with the sales girl 3 times in emails then installers and manager thought it was just cover the doors and back. So anyways they had to eat the cost and cover all the other areas in white.

It was a big deal to me because the paint was yellowing a bit and the idea of all this was to save the cost of a new box getting installed. Decided 4k was much cheaper.

Dp, Im doing a lot myself but I also work with several other trainers. My friend is a dog handler for us military so he is working with Kobra a lot. Ive also been training dogs for about 12 years just not professionally.

I can do a good amount myself but always am trying to learn more from others.

I have a training field set up on the property with A frames, hurdles, wall climb, dog swing and other unstable surfaces. It all for exposing the dogs to different environments

IPO is also known as schutzhund. Its a dog sport, basically police level service dogs competing to see which are the best of the best. Tracking, obedience, protection

That is a far better price than I was quoted, but then I was planning on a full wrap to include the entire box and cab. I really like the approach you took on yours and I might have to investigate doing something similar.

you could contact the company I used here Rob and give them your dimensions, they could design and print the vinyl but then you would need someone local to install or install yourself

Its actually not that hard with the new technology 3M vinyl.. it has tiny little air valves all over it that you can see but they prevent any possible chance of getting a bubble.

I might have to look outside this area as we only have 2 companies that specialize in it and they are actually owned by the same guy, so there is no competition. For the kind of money I could save, driving to KC or something might be worth it.
