I'm humbled, I'm embarrassed
Did a really nice quality, cream colored carpet. 100's of little spots. Husband washes hands very sloppy, letting drips fall all over. Master bath, closet, and thru the master bed room. Really sloppy. So I prespray and clean: nothing happening, like NONE of the spots are disappearing! I went out and mix up some power burst; repeat. A few spots are coming out. The customer had been in twice to see and I tell her they are not budging:(
I am bummed and embarrassed at the lack of results.
I go out and get the rv360, and let r rip. They are coming out!!!!! She comes in and tells me she is pretreating with folex and the spots are coming out. I'm embarrassed again. But atleasted the spots are coming out.
At this point I'm done with the master closet and bath: after 50 minutes on the job.
I would five it a 93\100 of how well the spots came out.
The hall turned out 'wonderful'!
The lady and her mom were making glowing comments of how they looked:) when I was almost done.

It happens to all of us. I actually carry a bottle of Folex on the truck these days for that very reason. You can never have enough options on a truck in my view.
Best part is that the customer was thrilled in the end...put your cape on and strut your way back to the van.

More like drag my drippy wet, tires self back to the van. That one hurt.
+ we are smoky as h#%* here.
Fires from Canada, Montana. One west and one north. Then I find there's one south in Columbia river gorge.
Visibility less than a mile. Couldn't see my bro in laws house that sit on a hill north of me. Couldn't see the hill !!!!

I forgot about all that in your area. I've been seeing the pictures, not good. Smoke will be much worse when the barometric pressure is higher so watch the weather station and make sure to check the air filter on your vehicle and machine often.

That's exactly why I have a gallon of ultrapac in my chemical rack, it smells really bad, I used to always use it every job, every day, not anymore now, just use it on dirty carpet, if it doesn't come out with ultrapac, sorry ma'am those are permanent stains, like I had told you before I started cleaning, there might be some stains that won't come out, there they are.

1st prespray was a mix of: grime release, extreme, g-force, strike force.dp1 wrote:That's exactly why I have a gallon of ultrapac in my chemical rack, it smells really bad, I used to always use it every job, every day, not anymore now, just use it on dirty carpet, if it doesn't come out with ultrapac, sorry ma'am those are permanent stains, like I had told you before I started cleaning, there might be some stains that won't come out, there they are.
I realize what went wrong. I had 1 gallon left in 3 gl sprayer at the end of mthe day before. I filled it with more water, then said to myself "I'll mix up ,add chems when I get home". I forgot to do that. So it was way watered down.
With this mix, I should have seen those spots desolving, breaking up before extraction. But spraying it with basically water ......
