I bought a ....
Been wanting an oscillating machine for awhile. Found a deal on ebay; oreck LB9000 for 299. It's pretty much like a Vario. Only thing was"pick up only". I asked about boxing it up and I'd have UPS\fedex pick it up. He offered to drop odd a FedEx drop off station. Sweet.
Now if I can get it here before the 4th when I have 5k sf comm job, with most being cubicles.
I only found it on eBay under an obscured "key" words.
Floor machine... No
Floor scrubber..no
Oreck...no
LB9000... No
And on and on...
Now I can't even remember what key word it was. So apparently no one was seeing it. Good for me!

That is what I like about fleabay, you get some fantastic deals when things are listed in an odd way and you search for it.
I bought my sapphire upholstery tool that way brand new for $175 one night about midnight. Nobody saw it because it was listed as an "upholstery repair" tool.
Sounds like you did very well.

$ 175 ? Damn, that’s a steal !
I agree, those people that don’t know how to sell or spell usually don’t care enough to sell at the normal rate.
Good job guys.

It was a steal. The cleaner won it in a raffle and said that he liked his old tool better and didn't know how expensive the were. I sure did and jumped on it 5 minutes after it was posted.
That tool has made me about $6,000 since then.
