Post holiday spike
I didn't get a pre-Thanksgiving surge this year, but seem to be getting a post-Thanksgiving bounce with 3 scheduled on Tuesday. This is not normal for my area at all, but it is supposed to be 70 degrees today and above freezing day temps up until mid-December in the forecast.
Normally, I have nothing except some commercial from Thanksgiving until March. This is a welcome sight and shortens my winter period. I like it!

Re: Post holiday spike
Defiantly getting that boost dontonthe warm temps. Hopefully that continues through mid December. Once the trees go up it does over here
Re: Post holiday spike
Wow, 70 degrees ? Are you sure you're not in LA ? Lol
That's great Bob, I've been busy down here too, I never thought I would break $ 2000 this year but damn it finally happened 2 days ago
I didn't expect this at all but I sure as hell am not complaining.
This global warming ends up being a blessing to all of us huh, lol.

Re: Post holiday spike
I don't expect to see below freezing day temps consistently until Jan. That is a huge plus for me.
Ice age.....selling out and buying a snow plow.

Re: Post holiday spike
Well, scratch that last comment. The month's forecast that I was sent was for last month....we will be in single digits starting Tuesday.
Re: Post holiday spike
Crap, sorry to hear that, well Ice Expo is right around the corner, new management too, perfect time to go when it's freezing out there ? I know you don't really like Vegas but if the flight is cheap, why not getaway for a couple of days ?
Unfortunately I'll be half way around the world by then, I wouldn't be able to attend.

Re: Post holiday spike
I am toying with the idea of shuffling off to somewhere for a couple of days. One can only stare at a thermometer so long before getting angry.
How long until Spring?

Re: Post holiday spike
Im ready for the slow down. I woke up to 24 degrees this morning. I need to change my start time to 10 am am again
Re: Post holiday spike
This time of year Mo, my start time is noon.
We are having crazy wind the past couple of days (50 mph gusts) so nothing is happening...and I am sort of glad.

What about clearwater, Florida ? The Nebraska couple I met there a few months ago told me in the winter the plane ticket is only a couple of hundred bucks round trip, and lodging and accommodations are fairly low there, beautiful white sand beaches were literally 5 minutes walk on either direction you go. Something to think about.

Re: Post holiday spike
Believe me, I am already thinking about it. My Brother just returned from Hawaii and rubbing my nose in it as usual.
