So bane clene pre heats their water, seems to 160-180°.
Q: what temp is to much/hot to go thru the pump?
Different specs(hot water thru) for Cat or comet or general pumps?

I think 160 degrees is the factory limit on a standard CAT pump, but you could probably upgrade the seals for higher temperatures. I don't think it would go a lot higher than that though.

That's about right. And yes there are a set of seals that are high temp ceramic that cost about twice as much that you may be able to run 180 deg in. If you are running a unit with hx's, then you should have a water box. The water Bx should have a thermal relief valve on it, look at it it should have been temp rating on it. That is there to protect the pump seals. I would say that you can add 20 to 30 deg as they don't want to get the water up to the seals heat max temp.

Just thinking and analyzing what they do.

The Banes company always impressed me as far as support and education. I don't think there is any other cleaning company out there that does a better job for their users.

That said, the machines are not their strong point although it would likely be very reliable by that design. I see them for sale a lot around here, but I just can never find any interest in them.
