pump outs connected to your tm battery?
Do most of u run yours off your tm battery? Looking at most waste tanks they have the standard pull up manual dump. Do u just leave the pull up and then pipe it down to a garden hose then to your pump out

Re: pump outs connected to your tm battery?
Yes your auto pump-out is ran off your TM battery. But there is a secondary float switch in the waste tank. The manual dump valve most times is not used, there should be a different drain a little higher than the manual so the sand and silt don't go through the (external) pump-out. Internal pump-outs work but require a lot of work maintaining them because you have to pull them out to clean daily.

A lot of them will have an extra port somewhere usually a few Inches higher. The pump would run off of the engine circuit so as to not kill the battery.
Re: pump outs connected to your tm battery?
Thanks guys .. does anyone happen to know how guys with nick n. ez truckmounts are attaching a pump out as they seem to not have that second hole so you can attach a pump out? Seems they just have that big dump ..

Re: pump outs connected to your tm battery?
I suppose I would ask Nick. If it does not have a port you could make one or add a three way to the big dump and hook it up there
Re: pump outs connected to your tm battery?
I used to have an older performer and it didn't have the second hole, so you would need to drill 2 holes, one is for the drain pipe and one is for the float, I had my mechanic drill these holes cause I didn't wanna make mistakes with the hole sizes and such, so that's about as far as my two cents go :-)

hole saw and sch 80 bulkheads from the farm supply store. Make sure you put a fuse on the apo!
Re: pump outs connected to your tm battery?
My pump out is belt driven and runs off of the engine and can move 26 gallons per minute and move larger debris thru it. I saw Nick's pump out at his B'Bque and Neil ( who posts here has one) could fill you in on that one.
