EDGE WANDS- which one is better?
I've been contemplating about which edge wand would be best.
Anybody used these before? I'm very interested, want to get
one soon.

now that would most definitely set you apart from the crowd. Fast too. if you were to edge every room and charge for it you could market that and close on a lot of work possibly.
what is the purpose for it? filtration soiling removal? or just excellent cleaning?

Sorry, I'm no help because I've never had or used one for carpet.

I'd use for both; filtration soil and an excellent job (Beating out just about any other cleaner out there.)

I am sure that Joe will chime in hear on this topic, but you should take a look at his website for some comparisons.

I have a clone of the Vinus (thought it was the real deal at a cleaners's out of business sale...it wasn't), so it might not be the most accurrate opinion. That being said, the vinus clone gets into places no other edger would ever reach, but it only really worked on a backstroke. Trying to push it forward just dug it into the carpet and risked snagging a seam. On the backstroke, it works very well.
Again, mine is just a clone and it isn't the best welding job, so I doubt it is indicative of the real Vinus except that it may share the backstroke only application.
Somebody must know the answer out there? Anyone used both?

14 years and counting without having used an hwe edging tool. Good wanding parallel to the wall with a good wand will get super close. Or wanding perpendicular to the wall with a quick tilt of the wand will spray right up the trim. In a pinch where there is a mess the stair tool without a glide gets close enough.
