If anyone knows of a decent used waste tank for sale anywhere around the northwest please let me know, mine is starting to fall apart.

Re: used Waste tank needed
Is there a preference on what type or material? I tend to find Butler tanks for cheap up North of me. Normally, they are the smaller version, but sometimes the 210 tanks pop up.
Once a direct drive van goes to junk, the machines become worthless and get tossed in the salvage yard. Check your local auto salvage places, you might get lucky and score a cheap tank, blower, pump, etc. I upgraded to a 210 gallon waste tank that way...cost me $150 and that included the cat pump, control panel, and dump valve.

I have a tank for a 3.2 spitfire HM unit standard tank. I also have other parts for it I've been busy and haven't had a chance to list them. The exhaust Hx, tube and shell Hx, Blower, Pump and frame.

Re: used Waste tank needed
anything conceivably could be used for a waste tank.
Rain barrel modified, these come with food grade lining so are super easy to clean. Some really thick high quality ones are sold near my house. They are all black with heavy duty lids that seal tight. An earthquake water heater strap will hold it tight in the van
You could use any plastic water holding tank, some may just be easier to clean.
you said you have a hillbilly custom TM, so i figure you could just get creative.
I guess it just depends on what size machine you run, if its a 56 blower then you probably need something pre made, but if its a smaller size TM personally I would just make my own.
after all its just a tank, as long as it can handle the vacuum.

You know the first HM unit was made from two 55 gal drums. If you had one of the drums that has the big locking ring around the top that comes off when you open the clamp it would work the top has seal already. Just put a drain in and a vac connection in the lid and mount it in the van and your ready for work.

Re: used Waste tank needed
The only problem with agriculture tanks, pesticide tanks, barrels, etc. is that many are not baffled, so there is a lot of sloshing as you drive around. Sometimes, that can be upsetting your van when turning or stopping hard.
I think those poly ag tanks are great and many are baffled...I would look at those unless you need something to hug the van's walls to save space.
