Tony should buy a decent porty to demo his wand inside at his booth. I got one of his stairtools from cobbs it works good.

westpac, zipper and a few other wands the 15 inch ti wand Interlink sells was outside to. The Zipper was redesigned new model older model still availible was well recieved. Gerson's new wand looked a lot like a 4 jet prochem ti wand.

Is it what I think you're saying, some form of advertising, where you get money?

How does a Floater fit in as advertising?
It seems to me you've avoided the issue that you are partly in this thing to make money.  You don't need to be.
The board is yours.  It's ok to make some money. It's ok to say you make money. It's devious to hide or ignore this fact.
All advertising is about paying the source for the privilege of promoting their product/service, right?
To me I don't see how 'sponsoring' has anything to do with advertising.
I think you need to make us a definition of sponsoring vs advertising cuz I don't get it.
I give you money every month and I think of it as advertising. It's meant to go right into your pocket. It pays you, the owner, to make a place for me to do my thing.  
Far as I see it, I'm not sponsoring Jack shoot. I'm buying a spot where I can sell my shoot.
And any other advertiser should be doing the same thing: giving you money for the right to sell their shoot here.

Now, regarding Floaters, I've got several going on. They are designed by me, for me, with one purpose - to get me the information I need to evaluate and/or make better products.  
These Floaters have nothing to do with me paying you for my advertising here.  You  screwed up my Zipper Floater by encouraging members here to break my rules.
Do not do that again. I defined the rules to my Floater so use my rules or get a different name. Mine are all about Individual evaluation. It is a test, plain & simple.  
And the test ain't over til the last paper gets turned in. If you do it like I have it set up, you will be months before anyone buys anything which means you won't make a dime off Tony for months yet he will take every liberty to sell his shoot here. So see, I am totally confused how you can use Floater, Sponsoring and advertising all together. Maybe you could use a different term for whatever you and Tony Dang are planning cuz if I know him, he's gonna want a testimony as fast as he can so he can sell his shoot. Right Tony? It's never been about making quality with Tony as far as I have seen. It's always been - race to market with a copy of somebody else's product or somebody else's vision (yes, yours truly) whatever might sell - make money... worry about details later. I'm exactly the opposite and I prove it everyday, in every way. Floaters are one of my best vehicles. And this place is a great place to work them. So if you're doing your thing with Tony any different from my Floater, then don't call it a Floater. Call it something else, and state it's not to be confused with Joe's Floaters. Please?

Gerson is aka 'gtech12v' your classic broke dick cleaner, a value seeker to the max. Supports me, Tony, anything that that offers value he's all over it. He's one of the guys who bought Tony's early copy of my VT.
I asked him to be quiet about it. He did for awhile now he's back at it.
Truth is, the VT was my vision. An inexpensive Value Titanium with my high shear kit, glide, and all the quality stuff a good wand should have on it.
I'd originally flown down to CA to meet him and help him get his attempt at a high performance wand saleable, as it was not well received. I advised he junk it, really, but he kept on selling it anyway, some 400 of them. Cobb sold them too. Lots of guys have since put my HSK on them trying to make the most.
What I wanted out of the deal was for Tony to make me a wand to my specs - the VT series. Poor consistency was one reason I broke away from Tony but the main reason was he had a hidden agenda to copy me and undercut me. First time I realized it he said it was a "mistake... that they weren't supposed to be made." Yeah right Tony. He promised me this run of 200 or so would be the last. A few months later, here comes another container full. This time his excuse was that they weren't the same as mine. Oh OK. So I flew down to CA on my dime three times to teach Tony how to knock me off. First time, it wasn't supposed to happen. Second time, it's not exactly the same as yours. Now, it's a copy yet he calls it new, and he calls it a Prochem. Classic Tony Dang. It was my idea for the 1" and 2" edge tool. A year later they still weren't done yet weirdly enough my own customers start popping up with them. Dang you Tony.

Lost Money and false promises and poor consistency and a couple years is all I could take of Mr. Tony Dang.
Even his own brother says "nobody in Vietnam will work for him."

Now Tony says the reason he is undercutting me is cuz I won't let him make my wands anymore.

Like other Tony Dang and AMF wands, we jokingly call 'Mutt' wands, (as in a dog of many breeds) this one is not anything of mine. The jet spacing is wrong, the parts are of lower quality, the glide - if it's like the glides Tony sold me for my VT wands - crapola. Just ask some of the guys who've gotten them. And as I'm sure Sam could tell, it's not a Prochem. Yet there's Tony, and now Gerson saying it is. Whatever you say guys. I'm sure there's plenty of gullible cleaners who think your lowball price justifies the cause.

Just so everyone here at the Lounge knows how all of this started and has a glimpse of where we're going. OK?

The good news is he is getting better.
Copying the clearview and going to single supply rather than a splitter are two improvements that show him getting better (at copying me).

Main difference between he & I - quality of parts and customization - I make mine with genuine Westpak, Parker and Foster parts and I assemble them all by myself, here in the US (contrary to the apparent lie Mike Draper told) and I make 'em to order. Tony has his made in Vietnam, one-size-fits-all.

Tony says he got a Devastator to copy at the last ICE and was pissed at me when he learned how low I sell the RC99 for so I doubt he'll knock that off. He planned to copy the PMF Ti 15 too, begged me to send him one of their wands - ain't gonna happen Tony. Not that you could do half the job PMF does, but I ain't takin no more chances with you.
One more thing, I recently found out Tony had bought but not paid for glides from Greenglides. He filed bankruptcy instead, thus the name Venus got swept under the rug along with the debt. Welcome the new Tony, Cal Tools.

With regards to the Zipper floater don't try and re write hstory. You broke your own rule and started posting on the forum about how the guys that you had testing the Zipper (secretly and outside of the forum) didn't like it, but yet you did not want Lounge Members that tested it to give their evaluations.

With regards to Caltools. You're just as bad as the person at The Experience that didn't allow Tonys wand to get tested. You're trashing the Floater before it even gets started and threatening to cut off anyone off that likes it and purchases it. I think I'll call The Cleaners Lounge testing a "Loaner' because I don't want anyone confusing our testing with the testing that you have going that we don't know any about.

The reason I did that was to bring balance to the overall positive responses that were being leaked here from people who needed to be vindicated,
who needed to know that all the money they just spent was worth it, when in fact, the consensus of the testimony of other real cleaners who were
not under such influence were coming up with a more negative opinion. Free from the pressure of saving face, they merely spoke of their experience, independent of others.
It was overwhelmingly negative.
To date, after several more cleaners have had it in their hands - the consensus is still an overwhelming negative.
Think of how many more unknowing cleaners would have been misled by you Mo for the way you ended it with that prolifera of “I did it, ya’ll need to do it too, so I’m vindicated” come on.

I called Fred Hamer and he bought the PMF Edge tool from me, just as he promised. A true man of his word.

Bill Sabia of Hot Rod fame started a thread asking us about 2” vs 1 ½”  After we all helped him, he said he was gonna get a 2” Ti, clearly avoiding the mention of my VT wand.  
When I offered to sell you mine, you told me you were too broke now. Were you telling the truth or did you end up buying from Tony?

Eldiabloz was interested in an edge tool. I called you to sell you one but you said you were working up an order. That was weeks ago.  What do you plan to buy or have you bought already?
