Soils n Oils for Odors?
I was sent a sample.....
Has a fresh soapy fragrance..nice....
Does it neutralize the odor or just masks it temporarily?
Which odors is it most effective on?
Whats your experience?

It knocks it out!! It will linger at higher dilution. So like that some don't. This is the best available by a long shot.

It flat out kills odors. I've used it on urine and pet odors and it's amazing! I buy the 25% mix and that is all that I've needed. I actually dilute that down to 12.5% with S/O/E to knock out the smell of the dogs in my own house. At that dilution it seems to linger for about 2 weeks.

Another vote for "knocks it out". I have tried Thornell's odorcide.
Joedocide kicks it's butt. Flat out, no if's, and's, or but's.

Re: Soils n Oils for Odors?
I just started using it, and have been very impressed!!
So far, I've successively removed cat urine from leather furniture, heavy general dog odor, not urine but just that bad wet stinky dog odor.
And most recently removed the horrible odor in this house....
I know it's hard to know what my definition of ''horrible odor'' is, but look at this, and I can assure you it smelled worse than it looked!!!..................

Joedercide is what we call it. My property managers cant get enough of the stuff. We buy the 100%. Add about 2 ounces (costing me about $1.50) to a 1:4 tipped inline and the place smells like a million bucks. We say give em some Joe.
Re: Soils n Oils for Odors?
Buy it up boys. Help keep this product under Joe Bristor and wanders supply. These manufacturers chase quantity, if you can't move a certain amount they look to other opportunities.

Re: Soils n Oils for Odors?
It is very effective, so if the 25% gets the job done, why go stronger? I have often cut the 50% with S/O to reduce the deodorizing, so I guess the 25% works for me...just saves me a step.
Re: Soils n Oils for Odors?
I think you are right Joe.
I use the 100% as needed. Works out better for me as I can add more or less depending on the job at hand.

I'm pretty sure I am using the 50% stuff. Works great added to my hydroforce. I sell it as a topical odor treatment.

Re: Soils n Oils for Odors?
I just used 2 oz s/o/o with 4 oz of s/o/e for a post odor treatment. Had some dog hair smell. So I misted some on and raked in. If it works I just may stick with this combo.

Re: Soils n Oils for Odors?
that was more about using s/o/e with s/o/o verses the so called enzyme treatment route. i got to be honest, my brain just has a hard time believing the whole enzyme treatment bla bla bla. it just doesn't compute.Joe Bristor wrote:"IF" ?
Let's put it this way. I won't be checking in on that home. I failed grammar too Joe. Southerners

Re: Soils n Oils for Odors?
Love the 100%. Add it when needed. Good idea to 25% and 100%.. Keep it simple.
Re: Soils n Oils for Odors?
This is just my opinion, so don't shoot me. I think if you go anything above 20% S/O/O then you should just bite the bullet and by a five gallon bucket of 100% and just create the dilution you desire. You might say why? Well the more higher percentage of S/O/O the lower dilution of S/O is present therefore reducing the cleaning strength of the PS. This was my though from the beginning when I was buying 50%. I was finding myself adding extra S/O to the HF. It wasn't long before I was asking Joe Bristor at Wanders if I could by it 100% full concentrate. Which give me the freedom to adjust my desired strength. I think Joe may be hesitant to suggest to purchase it this way because of the $$$. It's Worth it...... If you use it a lot buy the five gallon bucket, moderate user buy the gallon or two at a time.

Re: Soils n Oils for Odors?
Found another great use for SOO, a couple days ago I woke up late and was rushing getting ready and forgot to put my deodorant on, little squirt on my shirt, right and left near the armpit, so you know what to do now if you happened to be in that situation
I better get some reputation points for this tip, ha..ha..ha....

I bought a gallon of hunnert. I love this stuff!
I'm sure I've posted this somewhere on here before, but a nice way to explain the linger is to tell them as long as they smell it, its still working, counteracting the malodor. It seems to go over well with everyone so far.
