Glamour shot? Why do you think I had it taken from 40 feet away?
I drink out of a better looking mug

I tried 3x to post a new topic and it wouldn't post. So I'm hijacking this thread.
Seems when things happen to you, it happens to me.
Setting up hoses, short 2-3 ft. 3 of 6 jobs on Friday I was short 5-8 ft.
You post your rat nasties.... I get a few rattys.
Talk about what to do for pot odors, had 2 Friday morning. Best way to describe the lingering odor of pot....."skunk". Then my van stinks like cheech and chongs van.
Talk about moody or flacky customers, then I have a few to deal with.
Would you please talk more about your gravy train, cherry picking type of jobs.

Man, I wish I could, but it's been one of those weeks!..........everything has been a PITA, and nothin but constant problems, in addition to being sick for 2 days, making the rest of the working days more hellish by playing catch-up in the heat and humidity............now don't be going and getting sick, just because I mentioned it.
I like yor new 'I just saw a ghost avatar'.

Sorry that happened Matt.
Since you're in Washington... What has happened to me this week is that I've been rain on while cleaning 3 times. Sending rain your way.
Weird that you mention the mention the skunk smell. Last week I cleaned for a lawyer that I clean for regularly. This guy is a clean freak. Well last week I walked in an it smelled like skunk,it was faint but I smelled it. Just to make sure I walked out and walked back in and I smelled it again. I called to ask him about it.
I told him that I noticed that he had a new leather chair and that is what I was probably smelling. I told my wife about it and said it was probably weed. But there is no way this guy would smoke that in his house

I think it's hard to be sure anymore? I know I've been surprised a few times in the last couple years.......like the 60 yr old lady the other day puffin out in her bd rm when I was cleaning.
I would have bet money she didn't smoke it, but she did..

Re: Well I bit the bullet and ordered a Zipper Wand
So I have been using the Zip for a while now....and I have to say I really like the Zipper.
I will also say that in resi settings my Devpro is just more user friendly, and without a doubt I can make better time with it.
I still use Zipper on empties but more because I just want to use it, rather than it is better than my DP wand.
What I will also say is this...it is flat out one of the easiest, fastest tools I have ever used on CGD carpet.
Why do I say this, well my 13 year old son went with me yesterday and we did @3800 sf of CGD carpet.
I used my modded buffer with my big wheel conversion to scrub and lay down the pre spray....it is awesome and I will be moving forward on trying to make a bolt on kit for a few more popular brands of 175's (just not sure yet what they are) because it makes the buffer faster and way easier to use.
My son Zippered the whole job behind me..I did go back and checked his work, and touched up a little bit as this was the first time ever he actually ran a tol for real. But my thoughts are correct about the zipper being much easier to use than a regular wand no way ever could he have done this with a DP wand, this was at the end of the job and he was starving but he did the whole thing start to finish, and did a great job, had a awesome time working with him, have to say he made me pretty proud.

Your son looks like he's having fun. Brings back memories working with my boy. He hated the wand but loved the OP
Hey Tom you notice any decrease in agitation and head weight on the rotary after adding the big wheels.
I like the wheels on the ground machine makes it a lot easier on the body and smoother but you lose the head weight.
I have always thought it would be cool to have a wheels on the ground machine with an option to lift the wheels off the ground when you need more agitation. Right now I just lift the handle on the Orbot if I need a little more scrubbing action but it would be nice to make it a semi permanent option.
You sure have a lot of uses for the filter tube first a silincer than a tank

Re: Well I bit the bullet and ordered a Zipper Wand
Sounds like you had a good day Tom, glad it is working out.
Mo, you have me confused with the wheels up question. That was the greatest part of the Orbot is that you can just flip the handle over and run the machine with the wheels up for more agitation...and do it on the fly.
Is there something wrong with your machine?
