Without glide ?? Are you out of your mind ? Ha..ha.....
I would call in sick if I my glide breaks laughing
Nah Bob, there has to be a better way out there, you shouldn't do that to your back / body.
I just gave one of my brand new glide to a friend of mine, he does mostly hard surface, when he told me he cleans carpet without glide, I told him that he must pick it up from my garage Razz

True there, I don't want to go back to no glide. Even my stair tools have glides as does my old rx-20.

Lol.

I never had a glide on either of my wands. Not one on my stair tool either.

I suppose it makes a difference if you are cleaning carpet all day and are not built like He-man.

Yup, try cleaning 5 - 7 jobs a day without glide, with my everest, I did it 14 - 15 years ago no problem, but I was 25 - 26 years old then wink
I actually don't like glides on stair tool, cause it doesn't reach all the way to the end of the steps, leaves an inch or so that have to be sprayed and vacuumed, takes too much time to do that.
That's why I don't use the 2" stair tool, too noisy with my big blower, I also would like to save my body a little bit more by using the 1.5" tube stair tool.

I can't complain about my recovery on my porty. It sucks pretty good.

But I can sympathize with the shoulder/back/neck pain. Running a pole half the day wears on you. Even though the pole is carbon fiber and light, gravity isn't your friend for the most part.

Still better than traditional. Ladders and repetitive motion issues are not grand. They think fanning makes you cool and a "pro". Tell me that again after you wore your wrists out in 20 years. Consoling
