chemical metering
anyone know a good trick for bleeding the air out of these?
I have a pre spray fill tube at the pressure connect on the machine that I can let water flush through with but everytime I open the meter for the rinse pump pressure drops way down to 150
Need to somehow bleed the whole thing out

Re: chemical metering
Sounds like you have an air leak in the system some where?
Check the hoses for cracks, esp at the connection to barbed fittings. Could be a cracked brass barb too, or just the lack of teflon tape on the threads of barbs. Is this on the Judson?
Once you get the source of the air entering fixed, then just simply running the system will remove any air in it.........takes about 3-5 seconds is all.

Re: chemical metering
woo hoo solved, the screen on the end of the pick up tube was floating at the surface pulling air in.
now if I could just get my hydro force to work, buying a new one tomorrow...
I got the rebuild kit from joe but mine is a knock off "dial a mix" power force, it worked for a while after the rebuild kit was on but now its not pulling from the jug, this inline is a couple years old but it was a turd from the beginning. Going to try the hydro force brand one for 40 bucks more and see if it holds up longer.
What do you guys think about rinse in the line and then using an inline??
that was one reason we started using the multi sprayer, but that thing is way too inefficient for larger jobs.
seems like the rinse in the pressure lines weakens the pre spray a bit, just noticed that when using a pump or multi sprayer everything seems to clean much easier.
have you ever just sprayed pressure lines on the cement and see how long it takes until its clean water?? I did it and it took a long time before there was no rinse in the line.
