CFM Meter?

I've seen several video's from you guys testing CFM and wonder if ALL you guys are buying a meter to do your testing?
Or is there a floater/loaner that you are using?

I've got a couple new ideas to increase CFM that I think everyone could benefit from, and it would also be a simple low cost mod with just a small purchase from parts Joe sells.

Do I really need to spend $240 to get a meter to log some numbers?

Thanks to, Robert/Milspec6 I got the Joe's loaner CFM meter in the mail today!  

I was told it seems to read high, so apparently not totally accurate, which is kind of a bumber. But I guess if it's used for all the testing it should give an idea of the changes being made are an improvement or not. Once I use it the first time guess I'll have an idea how far it's off.

It may take me a week or two to finish the testing I want to do

But once I'm done I'll send it on to the next person that wants to use it?
If there's anyone who wants use it, speak up, just post here or PM me and I send it to you as soon as I'm done. :albino:

Talked to Joe today about the CFM meter. I would like to do some testing with it, so who ever has the loaner could you please  PM me so I could give u my address when your through with it .

I currently have it, but being busy lately haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I hope to be able to in the next couple weeks....

Or even better, if you're not in a big hurry, let me send it to you when I'm finished?...........then you can use it until the next person needs it, I guess?

No, the word "tape" was banished from the dictionary in the year 2000!!   

Well, that's the problem, I haven't done any testing yet, so there hasn't been anything to "tape".

That post is 2 months old and so is my baby girl. I also have 2.5 year old boy who keeps me real busy. Thanks for asking. I was planning on doing some changes to my TM over Christmas. I wouldn't mind having that cfm tester to see if it makes any difference but if someone else needs it I dont care that much. Probably too late anyway.

It has been so cold here it put me behind .The weather is suppose to be better by Wednesday or Thursday. I will be able to have it in the mail to you by Thursday afternoon. Can you pm me your address? I've had it for a little over a week,this winter has been a killer.
