MEA unscented ammonia booster

WARNING, THE AFTER PICTURE I POSTED HERE IS NOT THE FINISHED PRODUCT. I TOOK THE AFTER PIC AFTER ONE QUICK PASS WITH THE BONNET AND AS YOU SEE THERE IS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT I SHOULD HAVE EXAMINED THE PHOTO MORE CLOSELY BEFORE POSTING AND I NEGLECTED TO GET A PIC OF THE FINAL RESULTS WHICH BY THE WAY WERE OUTSTANDING.


So Joe sends me a sample of MEA booster. I tried it today 2 oz. per gallon mixed with  S/O/E and H202.

I was working on a third story condo so I chose encap cleaning using my rv360 and microfiber bonnets.

I was very happy with the results. It was a silver carpet that was just black in the walk ways.

Here is before -if you look at the upper left of this photo you see an area that I had already cleaned.

and after one quick pass with the bonnet. I did go over this area again while standing on the vinyl floor you see in the photo to clean the fibers from the opposite direction. should have taken a photo after that.



I tested the ph, it was a 10 with the booster added 2 oz per gallon. with out booster S/O/E and H202 tested a 7 on the ph scale. maybe next time I will only add 1 oz MEA per gallon and see how well it works.

What does MEA stands for ?
I thought ammonia is only used as an accelerator for stain removal process ?
Fred, the carpets improved substantially however I think the result can be a little better with hwe imo and 3rd floor isn't that high to use tm through the patio or window, I'm just curious why you chose to go the bonnet cleaning rather than hwe ?

I chose encap mainly to test the booster. It worked marvelously. Didn't you see the area on the left of the picture an area previously cleaned? The picture i posted has swirl marks that make the carpet appear dirty I did not leave it like that I groomed the marks out and should have taken a picture of the finished product as I already explained.
