Rotovac 360i owners?
How is the Ratovac attachments working out for you guys? I really want to know how the T&G brush and Bonnet is performing?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Rotovac 360i owners?
Works good. Just can't tilt it like the spinners. Not to good on water recovery either

Re: Rotovac 360i owners?
I thought it would be great on tile and grout. Same thing, recovery not that great and the floating vac ring/vac hose set up leave a lot to be desired.
Re: Rotovac 360i owners?
I have the tile brush but not the ring. I gave used the head to scrub some tile with on a few jobs but I felt like it did a poor job. I also have the bonnet head and have used that to pre scrub some of my nasty jobs and it worked ok. I think my 175 would have done a better job because of the weight of the machine.
Re: Rotovac 360i owners?
I agree. I think weight is the big missing factor with the attachments.

I have a rotovac and never use it. As a matter of fact I'll sell u mine. On hard surfaces it just makes a mess. Just buy a spinner or a tile wand. If u wanna good investment a crb kicks butt at prescubbing tile or anything else. Also is very handy in general and can do encap.

Thought I would give this thread some new life again.
I have been thinking about purchasing the bonnet attachment. Any guys have some input in that. Purpose would be for pre scrub and post pad cap.

love the 360, smallest easiest rotary for daily use
I use the pad driver with s/o/e for an office that we do on the 4th floor, so easy to bring everything up in one trip

Re: Rotovac 360i owners?
I use the 360i on every carpet job and love it. Have yet to try it on tile. After reading this feedback I may not. Thank you everyone. This forum is so valuable.
Re: Rotovac 360i owners?
I find the bonnet head to weak. If a carpet is bad enough to warrant a pre scrub I would rather just haul in the 175. Pre scrub isn't needed 99.8 percent of the time if your rotovac cleaning anyways.
It might be handy for a post dry padding, but never tried that yet.

Re: Rotovac 360i owners?
I have the 360i with the regular head, then bought the head with the brushes on it which also has the spray jets and vac ports and love it, don't even use the other head anymore, however if you doing a real good thick plush carpet it is a little bit of a strain on the small motor if using the carpet brush head, that is when you'd want to use the normal head without the brushes. Thats where a 175 rotary with the carpet brush head comes in handy. Also have the tile and grout head with the vac ring, does it work-yes does it work great--no. I only use it if tile and grout are not in bad shape to begin with, other wise you'd be better off with a CRB or 175 rotary. Overall I love the 360i though and is a good tool to have.

Re: Rotovac 360i owners?
Pad driver works good Ryan and its only 65 bucks so its worth it. I dont use pads to pre scrub carpet because I feel a crb is just way better and scrubs deep... pads are surface mostly.

That's good to know. I've thought the light weight would make quick work pad capping.

Re: Rotovac 360i owners?
oh and I have used the pad driver for wood floors several times, not a ton of weight on the machine but it worked well for a cleaning and re coat
Re: Rotovac 360i owners?
My ring would stick to sealed concrete, not from the suction just through lateral friction. Still a very versatile machine tho.
