Interesting video
Well not interesting by its self. But interesting that I have cleaned this carpet regular for the last 5 years and never got it to clean up good ever. In fact last time I gave the guy back his check and said the carpet still looks like crap, then told him " it's shot and needs replacing." (You know the once in a blue moon carpet that just wont clean no matter what, its one of those ).
Over the years I've tried several different pre sprays and several different methods, and combo of methods, in an attempt to make some improvement on this carpet.
Fast forward,,,,,,,
The guy calls me last week and says, I know my carpet is shot , but I need it cleaned just to get me by, it's making me sick with all the dog puke . I said OK I do my best.
So this time, I was inspired to give grease eraser a try on it, (saw Ryans video) haven't used in a few months, so figured what ever.

Re: Interesting video
Yes sir Joe , scrubbed hard with a 175.
My wife did the video, just the home owners teenage son was there (he was he one who said "Amazing") teenage son suggested we take a little video and text it to his dad who was at work.

Re: Interesting video
Looks good....have to scrub that poly as if you are trying to start a fire.
Hate that stuff...just hate it.

Re: Interesting video
Yep nice work.......
Just have to figure out what type of soil you're dealing with, and deal with it with the right chemistry. I've never used "grease eraser", but I have similar tools I'm sure.

Re: Interesting video
I hit that stuff with S&O using my inline sprayer set to draw at 4to1 and it's a 7 quart jug. I put three cups of S&O in and a cup of Super Charger from steamaction. Never had any trouble with it.

Re: Interesting video
I understand Ken, Soils n Oils kicks butt on poly, normaly not a problem for me either.
however this particular carpet in the video is for some reason impossible to clean. I can clean 50 other jobs with the exact same carpet typ, and they all would turn out fine, but this one nothing. Never been happy with the results on it. For some reason grease eraser just has this particular carpet figured out.

Re: Interesting video
It sounds like a good product to have on hand for the occasional weird carpet job. I might get a jug of it. What do you think is in it that makes it work on that one job better than anything else?

Re: Interesting video
I have no idea why it was so magical on this one job, I have used it maybe 10 jobs in the last 6 months, works about the same as any other quality pre spray, but nothing supper special,
However, on 2 jobs , this one and one other one, it was magical.
Seems to have a weird deodorizing ability too, The first job I tried it on....
was a regular customer, every time I cleaned it before got a bad wet dog smell,
No smell at all with grease eraser, I even put my nose to the carpet to make sure. I thought it was a fluke ,

Re: Interesting video
Nice ! Nothing like sodium percarb and 20 muleteam combo, deodorizes and melts like crazy!
Andy in this situation why wouldn't you have just used a rotovac? Does the 175 and wand combo get better results?

Re: Interesting video
No, I think rotary extraction is better then , pre scrub and wanding.
But my vac is down by about 25% (leaky waste tank) I went with the wand for better water recovery.
