Door Hangers
My new door hangers and redesigned magnetic cards. It is a little simplistic, but has proven to be effective so far.
Oh, that picture is of my niece reacting to a cupcake that I offered her...she is a funny kid. Seems to be good for business as well. Might even put her mug on the van some day.

Re: Door Hangers
Good one Rob, the only negative is the "and professionally clean your carpey once every 12 - 18 months" is flawed by the misspelling of carpet

Re: Door Hangers
I never had really any success with fliers or door hangers, but our markets are drastically different, so hopefully you will!!
Get some Reviews on Yelp, if you already haven't.........my experience with Yelp is once you get about a dozen good reviews, the phone starts ringing...even without paid advo

I wrote it, proofed it, approved it, and sent it to about a dozen people for their thoughts.....none of us caught that!
Thanks for the catch....ordered replacements today.

Looks good Rob. Get your 5 arounds ready too.
Have them ready, Mo. Simple hanger that says "I just cleaned for your neighbor" and a discount rate. I just need the initial run to get some name recognition going...so far it is working in the smaller markets where the nearest cleaner is an hour away. I've been loading up and booking 3 houses when I make those runs, well worth the trip thus far.

Re: Door Hangers
Great Hanger Robert, Eye stopper, makes you take notice. Any marketing effort is better than none.
Had to laugh, my first batch of post cards (I designed) lacked enough space for the customers address.
I ended up using them like a flyer and placed them in what is known as the newspaper box which is also known as a trash can. Great picture!

Re: Door Hangers
Thanks, I am new to this type of marketing, but it continues to generate interest so far.
Today, I was booked to clean a basement off of that hanger. I figured it was a start although I wasn't expecting much. Turned out to be a wealthy accountant with a basement bigger than my house and lot!! Nice saxony carpet too with a few drink stains near the home bar.
Got it done (S/O + S/O/E + S/O/O + peroxide) with the crb and trusty old prochem quad that is great on this kind of carpet. It looked great. Customer tells me that they had that carpet cleaned 2x this year by the "other guy" and the stains always remained.....but not today they didn't.
Ended up cleaning the stairs and 2 bedrooms for them as well before it was over. I spent about 30 minutes talking with them while the airpath was drying things up to build some relationship and get my message out.
Here is the kicker. they never liked the results when the "other guy" cleaned, but they said he was such a nice guy that they kept hiring him. This is what I tell everyone, you don't have to the best to get work, you just have to likable and they will over-look some negatives. Today they got both for their money.
That "other guy" left the industry and now sells real estate. That is why I started advertising in this neighboring town: I want to get a hold of the market before someone else does.
I left 20 business cards with them at their request and the wife was on the phone calling her friends over for a visit when I left. That was 2 hours ago, I have already booked 2 houses for next week from her friends.
It pays to be nice....even more if you also good. I am celebrating this day, it really cheered me up after a long week.

Re: Door Hangers
Way to go Robert, I agree people Hire the person, the personality keeps them calling you back. Referral's are golden the introduction is already established by someone they trust so the gate is open. You have a winning concept and the character to back it up. Walking the walk and talking the talk following the yellow brick road! Well Done.....
