For u guys that have electric reels how much solution line do u have on your reel? And why?
Do you rewind your vac and solution line up at the same time or do u have a qd that u attach after u roll up your vac line and then strap the vac line down and then rewind the solution line?
Thanks dudes!

Okay, 52 views and not one response on this? I know there are guys out there with electric reels (I wish I had one), so why so silent?

Little help here....

^^I'd guess because the Q isn't realz clear?

Electric reel?.........NO.

Roll up sol hose on vac reel?............NO, but have separate reel for it.

How much hose?................250-300'.

Why?.........because I need that much sometimes.

QD, on umm Wat??...........NO, I don't think so?

for solution hose length 125ft I have found is the sweet spot.     almost never have to bust out an extension and at the same time its not too much.    I used to have 150ft but always had a little too much extra.

I dont have an electric reel though,  hoping to soon but they are expensive.       The EZ truckmount one is nice,  but has quite a wobble in his video so not too sure how long it will last.

I was playing with the idea of a kit that anyone with a standard reel could buy for cheap.. someone should make one.

Thanks AC.. im getting ready for the green sk8nny :] so I'm a newb here.. so I guess even if u don't have an electric it would be the same main question I have is..
For those who have a vac hose reel with a solution hose reel attached to the side when you roll up your hoses do you roll the vac and solution hose up at the same time? Or do you somehow roll them up individually with some sort of swivel or qd?

My solution reels have always been stand-alone reels, so I have no insight on the integral reels except they must spin independently...would have to.

I separate mine, 1 van has 300' vac hoses, 1 van has 250' and 1 has 200', why ? Because 1 machine was purchased used and it came with 300' hoses and reel, I'm trying to trade to 200' or 250' due to space, all reels are separated between vac hoses and sol hoses, why ? Because when we pre spray we don't have to fight with vac hoses being in the way.
No live reel here due to the shorter the hoses, better heat, better pressure, better suction.
Hope that answers your questions Charlie :-)
