Took the plunge and ordered a Tuff Guard water hose. Going to use it as a waste tank pump out hose. Since you can see through it, it's light, won't kink, stays pliable when cold-Those are the claims anyway. Hope it holds up well, will post pics when it arrives. A bit pricey, but if it works, it's worth it. The garden hose I am using now is some type of themal plastic which becomes hard as a rock and useless in cold temps. Cost was $93 for 100' on amazon.

I want to do the same thing, let me know how it goes!

I think the see through aspect is the main reason that I want it for a discharge hose, the price is fine if it really handles the cold temps.

I heard the manufacturer had problems with the brass ends staying attached in the beginning, but the problem was fixed and they hold up well, we'll see..... I think the ability for the customer to see the amount of soil removed from their furnishing and floors through the hose is a great selling point.

It is a great selling point! I love clear filters, windows, tubes, etc. as they all prove to the customer that you were actually doing something...especially when you clean those homes that appear clean to begin with.

When I clean at the Zoo, it is almost mud coming out of my tank. Seriously, I could probably stand a fork up in it during the busy season. It has always been my favorite part of the night, seeing all the employees on duty gather round to watch the dumping and laugh at how bad it is.

To have a hose that can duplicate that off the apo is gold...if it holds up anyway. If it doesn't, it just becomes a mess. Laughing

Received the hose, here is a pic. Weighed it-14 lbs for 100', my rubber water hose came out at 15.5 lb's. Will test it out today.

Can't wait to hear your review....I am anxious to buy one too. Just not sure about the durability yet.
