Got a free sample I have not used yet.
Just smelling it, makes my eyes burn.

Wow, sounds a bit strong for carpet, if that's what it's for?.
Sounds like it might make a good hard surface cleaner tho.

Re: Fire storm pre spray review
I used it, I was not really impressed with it. I think there extreme clean works better. I used one 6 lb and went back to EC.
In my area EC seems to work really good, but I have two
cc friends here and they don't seem to like it all that well.???
What I really like is there pc45 spotter I buy cases of it. I even boost with it. Very reasonable price too.

I am with you all the way on this. I haven't played with that spotter much, maybe I need to. In fact, I have a couple of bottles on the shelf from a give-away awhile back.

No Dave, it's for carpets, but I might try it for hard surface, I'm picking it up this week, someone is selling a 42 lbs for $ 75.

Re: Fire storm pre spray review
I looked it up, Pro'sChoice. Had some issues with a Proschoice products some years back. I was looking for a natural solvent for oil based spots so I used some of their Envirex POG product. I think it was soybean oil, lol. Every job was a call back as it re-soiled, lent some to a friend, who had the same experience. Cost me time money and customers. I always pass on the Pro's choice. I have used their OSR, worked pretty well, I know others are coming out with similar products, I will check out those. I was not impressed with the little tubes of pog like stuff they were hawking. It was confusing as to which to use, they dried up in the tubes. Just not impressed with Pro's Choice. Lets just say I am gun shy. What I am impressed with is Bridgpoint Flex powder with citra-solv. This stuff kicks ass! What I really love is I can use it on tile and Microfiber sofas as well with unbelievable results! One product 3 uses. Used it side by side in a greasy restaurant against and enzyme- blew it away! Now if you boost with some Krud Kutter and 27%HP! Wow! Ph is about 11. I hear it all the time " The other company wasn't able to get it that clean". Try it if you haven't, I highly recommend it. Been cleaning since '81, best Pre-spray I have seen.
Re: Fire storm pre spray review
I was about to go Flex myself, but I am working with Cobbs PowerMax now instead. Half the price of Flex, and if it performs like others have said, it will likely earn it's spot on my shelf.
PowerMax should be able to do anything Flex can, at half the cost.
Biggest issue with a enzyme, is that the water needs to be at the right temp, and the dwell time is important.
I can tell you from the smell of Fire Storm, it is full of delim. You can smell it. Makes my eyes burn smelling the powder too, from the delim.
Pretty sure Fire Storm was made for trashed carpet that normal presprays won't kill.
I like the fact Cobbs has his own label, makes most of his own stuff (from my understanding) and is passing the savings onto us. His shipping was reasonable too. I don't like having to hunt for stuff in his chems, but I guess he doesn't care about that.

I tried Flex and did not have good results...... But that was at the beginning of my career. I think I will give it another try a lot of people say really good things about it.

Re: Fire storm pre spray review
I actually like Pro's Choice products for the most part. The Extreme Clean, OSR, and Last Step rinse are all excellent products. The pro-solve works well, but yes, they de-stabilize into either dust or melt into liquid way too easily on the van.
Still don't see the need for anything like Fire Storm on carpets. You can get them clean without using products that will leave you in worse shape than the trashed carpet you cleaned.
They should name a disease after us called "Builder's Grade Syndrome" with all these corrosive agents that we are being sold.
