Halloween plans
Okay, the holiday is around the corner, anyone have any big plans? Still taking kids out to Trick or Treat?
I used to love this silly holiday and would go all-out back in my 20's. My best one ever was going as the Headless horseman complete with horse. I would hide in the city park behind a building, then come storming out when I saw a bunch of teenage kids......it was amazing how fast kids can run when they want too.
If I tried that these days they would probably just shoot me right out of the saddle and post it on youtube.

Sounds nice. I took my nieces out for their first Halloween (triplets), but at the end of the day they asked for a "green apple" instead of the candy loot. Kind of missed the point....darn my Sister and her healthy ways.
I might take them out again this year now that they are 7. Still probably too young for the haunted house yet, but getting closer.

Oh yeah just spent 45 bucks on my daughters costume. What ever happen to the good old days of dressing like a bum or a women. it was so affordable trick or treating when I was a kid

Bums were rare back then.....now they are everywhere.
Should dress her up as a successful business owner....those are getting rare.

Re: Halloween plans
A lot of in the News items about being careful about candy w/ marajawana in it. Thanks to the pot heads in our state of Wa.
Thankfully we go to our church for a family nite of fun and we know who the candy came from!
I'm debating whether to dress up like Elvis or sumo wrestler?

From what I remember of Elvis late in his life....you could go as both. Sumo with sideburns...Sumo-Elvis!

On the lighter note, here's our dog with his Superman(Dog) costume on, you can't see the red cape in this pic, but it's there on his back.

Nothing has changed since we were kids. Back then it was razor blades in the caramel apples.
One house in my neighborhood handed out caramel onions....there is always going to be jerks out there. Be vigilant, but have some fun too.

And no need to say my grout needs attn. like DP did. ....It's black grout which is part of the cheap vinyl stick down tiles. Like I told DP, only the finest for my flooring.

I am laughing pretty hard about the onions. I know it's mean, but that is just a funny practical joke.
Glass and razor blades are NO joke. And pot candy? WHY would anyone do that to a little kid? Some people are just stupid.

Dave,
Is that a Schnoodle.
Sure looks like our Schnoodle, but ours is a salt and pepper grey.
Too cute!

It may be legal, but it doesn't make it right.

I don't have an issue if an ADULT wants to burn out there last brain cell. That's their choice, even if I think it is a poor or stupid decision.
But I question what mental midget, what total RETARD, would give kids pot? Any dipsheet that would give kids pot candy, should be noosed in the public square.

Re: Halloween plans
The pot candy issue "in the news" is a parents beware what your kids get in the candy bag. No incident yet, but...all it takes is 1. And I hope it doesn't happen, but there will be a public outcry.
