What's the lowest you have seen yet. Prices are predicted to hold in this range until next fall when surplus supply is finally used up. The Russians and Venezuelans are freaking out! This will slow down the oil boom in the Dakotas and else where in the USA. Break even point is around $70-75 per barrel for US crude. My profit is on the way up, only filling up every other day now. I love how long it takes to put $40-$50 in now!

It just fell to $3.07 around here, but we have that stupid gas tax so it should have been below $3 bucks in a better world.
Sure see a lot more boats on the river this month.

I thought only California charge taxes on everything, lol, that's cheap Rob and Eldiabloz, it's still $ 3.40 here regular, $ 3.60 for me because I use premium, it's a heck of a lot better than $ 4 / gallon a few months ago

We get taxed on fuel due to the ethonal garbage. Everything is required to be 10% ethonal blend to support the corn industry and then we get taxed on top of that for road repairs.
At least you get the "good stuff" out in Cali. Same goes for the guys in Texas with the higher octanes.

Its too bad the administration doesn't allow the hook up the Keystone Pipeline. The price would be a lot lower then it is.

We have junk gas here too (10-20% Ethanol) for 6 months a year, during the colder half of the yr.
Lowest I saw here today was $3.26 gal for 87 octane..............still high, but it's beats the hell out of $4.50 gal a few months ago.

I will not go on a rant about this, but Amen brother.
I sit on the largest anhydrous ammonia pipeline in America along with several natural gas pipelines, but we can't have an oil pipeline pass through the same area?? Not to mention 2 nuclear power plants.....I should be scared of some oil?

They still have the valet fill their cars don't they? That would explain it.
