So I recently got 2 devices; vxi express(blueparrot) and hbs-740(wrap around the neck).
I got the BP for work and the noise canceling feature. After testing, the noise canceling wasn't that good. And the "staying attached to the ear is less than OK.
The neck wrap is for my tablet and watching carpet cleaning videos(of course). The noise canceling was excellent. I was right in front of my Everest and my son said the noise was heard BUT muted and not intrusive to my talking. BUT so far the battery doesn't last very long; maybe an hour while watching a movie. Online reviews about the batteries have been mixed.

I used the bt 250 xt blue parrot and talk to customers in front of my machine running full speed and they don't hear a thing. They think I'm sitting in my office Laughing But it makes me look like a dork, lol.
I'm going to try the Bose Bluetooth next, Mark said they work great. definitely a lot smaller than my BP and if it's as good as some of the reviews said, it should be neck to neck to my BP.

Keep us posted, I am going to have to purchase something in the next month....need the info.

Personally, I already look like a dork, so no problem. I will wear a Viking helmet and a wet-suit if it got the job done. Very Happy

So those go over your head or around your neck? I think I might prefer the ear piece. Let us know which one is more comfortable to work with

Mo, if we're talking about comfort, the blueparrot ( over the head ) is very comfortable imho, it doesn't hurt my ear as much as the ear piece, the bose however is the ear piece which Mark Saiger has and I don't know how comfortable those are, a lot of the reviewers are saying the noise cancelling is great, is it good enough to talk to a customer in front of cleaning machine running at full speed ? I think Mark said it's good for that. I'm getting one soon and will give my review after I get one.
Regarding the one around the neck, not sure about that, never seen that one, look like a dog collar to me Twisted Evil

So the express(blueparrot) doesn't stay on or in the ear very good. I was fiddling with it and instead of going over the ear; I went under the ear with the hook thingy. Stays in way better.
The wrap around the neck one; the on/off button is VERY hard to switch. Have to really pick at it with fingernail! But the sound is good for both on the phone. Going down the freeway and my wife said she could hear me just fine. A lot of squeaks, clangs and ? In the van, it shuts it out real good. Still concerned about reasonable battery usage. Looking at a power pod, or pack to add amount of battery life.

That's funny, Ben said the same thing about the express (BP).
It turns out I actually still have a brand new of the express BP, anyone wants to buy it for $ 30 shipped ? Laughing
