Did a big carpet cleaning job for an old cowboy today with a smooth leather couch and recliner.  Put it for a future job, just have to find out what works best for cleaning and conditioning leather furniture.  Thanks for the info guys.

Sounds like the real deal leather then. It should be an easy clean and recondition, but you have to watch for those brass buttons / studs as they will discolor if you aren't careful.

The only trick I can offer is to cover those metal buttons with vaseline before you clean. Anything that comes in contact with the buttons will not penetrate the vaseline so you can just wipe it off when you are done.

Drove to many different stores today and couldn't even find any brand of cleaner or conditioner.  They just kept sending me back to each other so I gave up.

If you have to get something locally Bed Bath and Beyond has a few good reviews on  Weiman, a horse hair brush to work it in and a buffing pad and practice on your leather jacket Very Happy

That stuff looks too good to be true and he makes a goofy video of his different products but they really do work as advertised.

chem spec stuff works but we dont clean leather because anyone can buy the "kits" at home depot etc and it does the same job

customers ask and we just tell them theres no real special equipment involved just research it online and find a good product

its like armor-all, if they want auto upholstery cleaned thats cool but I dont think I would armor all the dash etc.... could be good money but I try to limit our diversity in services because there is already too much carpet to be cleaned

Its funny how some old cowboys collect so much stuff and take it with them even when they move to town..He has 4 bedrooms and a huge living room filled with tons of furniture and beautiful bronze cowboy statues. Man it was tough maneuvering the hoses around keeping away from all the bronze.
