Re: Loaner Review Wand-eeze Carpet Cleaning Wand Kit
Ahh yes I had to take off the grip so that it would fit
Re: Loaner Review Wand-eeze Carpet Cleaning Wand Kit
Mo, the adaptor is a piece of pvc. I think i gave you one. But they don't normally come included. Taking off the grip can optional. That is why i included two different lenghts bolts to secure it.

Re: Loaner Review Wand-eeze Carpet Cleaning Wand Kit
Ok So I tried using just my index finger to trigger the wand-eeze like Dave and Tom and again I ask why. Is that the way you guys triiger your current wand? I didn't like it, it didn't feel right at all.
Re: Loaner Review Wand-eeze Carpet Cleaning Wand Kit
Use any or all your fingers as you choose. I mix it up,for different situations and very rarely just use my index finger. But that is the beauty of it. You have choices of,which fingers you want to use. Unlike that new Mitety triggeer is only used with the index finger and it puts entire weight of the wand and hoses into the web of the users (Ouch). This will cause a lot of pain in the users hand in a short period of time and then effect you users finger. Its not ergonomic.

The pivital and unique parts of mine are patent pending and, will have a,utility patent before spring. Namely the comfort pad that shifts the weight onto the entire top of your hand is missing from every, other top mounted valve. Without it you have up to 40lbs into the web of your hand (ouch)

No way can a wand-eeze be built and sold for those kinds of prices. I can tell you carpet cleaning is far easier money.

Re: Loaner Review Wand-eeze Carpet Cleaning Wand Kit
The position that I like to use with the wandeeze is with the handle all the way back. Today I decided to an entire job with the handle positioned to the other extreme all the way forward.
Re: Loaner Review Wand-eeze Carpet Cleaning Wand Kit
I like videos like that, it gives you a lot of information of varies types.
As for the sorbo pad, might just want to design it like a sleeve that slides over the horn like a sock instead of relying on the adhesive. Simply some spandex materiel with a sorbo pad on the bottom.
I guess it depends on the long term durability. It doesn't take much effort to affix it back on there, but if it could be avoided, that would be good too.
One thing about that sorbothane is that it will outlast the planet. I still have sorbothane insoles in my running shoes from 10 years ago with probably 140,000 miles of running on them....still cushion well.

I had the same prob Mo, the crown nut digging into my index finger. If I liked it and was going to continue using it, I would have just removed that bolt to eliminate that problem........it's just in the wrong spot. But with it all the way forward, I don't see the point really.....your hand is basically in the same position as is without it like that.
And with it held out in front of you, it was obvious your stroke was really short.

That's why I don't use it forward and prefer it backwards. Didn't it look weird using your index finger to trigger.
Re: Loaner Review Wand-eeze Carpet Cleaning Wand Kit
Its made to be on the all the way back position. NOT the flat position. However the flat position can be used to obtain the longest stroke extention for open area speed cleaning. Except you guys are holding it wrong for that position. For that position hold the palm of your hand on the solution hose connection and,one or two fingers on the bottom of the trigger. Your fingers are no where near that acorn nut.

Re: Loaner Review Wand-eeze Carpet Cleaning Wand Kit
Dave just sent me a pic of the way he uses it when it's all the way forward. I didn't even think of that position. The index finger isn't anywhere near that screw that way

Re: Loaner Review Wand-eeze Carpet Cleaning Wand Kit
Wouldn't the solution hose get a little hot in that position?
Re: Loaner Review Wand-eeze Carpet Cleaning Wand Kit
Good point Rob. I didn't think about that since iv been cold water extraction for a couple of months now. I can't wait to pick up those water heaters from cali
Re: Loaner Review Wand-eeze Carpet Cleaning Wand Kit
As far as heat the bend restrictor is there and wrap a little tape over the brass or wear a glove. Remember this is just an optional position to be used as needed. But, i use this position usually at least once per day.

Yes, for sure when you have a heater/machine heating to 240 deg. plus. ,,even 200 would be way too hot for that.
If you're holding it that far back, again what's the point?.......no need for that pad way back there.
