Jet check valves

Jet check valves
I've been using Joe's jet check valves (teflon ball and spring) along with screens for years now, but lately, my springs keep breaking causing my jet to close off. I had it happen to 2 wands last night and it forced me to stop and remove the check ball and springs in order to continue the job.
This was on residential, so I noticed the streaks early, but what worries me is that a lot of commercial is being done at lower lighting levels on darker carpets so streaks would not be noticed until it dried. I can't have that happen, so today I removed all the check ball assemblies from each wand.
I wonder if it is due to pressures or just cycling? On commercial, that trigger is cycled a lot over a 6-8 job and at 500 psi, so maybe that it is just a rapid wear issue. I don't know, are any of you running into this issue? I am just going to accept the drippy jets for now.

Ok, so that short ver. of what I said was I had same prob awhile back, and suspected it to be a bad run, maybe some bad spring steel? I had never had the prob or haven't again since replacing those broken ones. And they also came from joe, think it was just a bad run that were breaking.

OK this is weird, My jets were dripping today too and it was on this carpet were you could see every drip. I've had the same jets on this wand for two years though. Im sure they are way overdue
Re: Jet check valves
2 yr old jets, I think even if they're SS they should be replaced after that long.........and prob the spring and balls in chk valves.

Better to be prepared, by having those 'wearable items' on hand.

I had that happen probably once or twice, so not much at all, thanks for the reminder I need to order some more of those from Joe.
