Countdown to Vegas

Where are we at numbers-wise for ICE in Vegas? Anyone committed to attending yet? Travel booked?

Looks like I will be out there on the 19, but haven't decided on length of stay yet. The way this fall has gone, my cleaning motivation is a little low, but grabbing some warmer weather in Jan. still sounds like a good idea to me.

I might even shop for a deal on a newer van while I am there since they don't have the rust belt rot to deal with.

Dinner offer still stands for those interested....unless you annoy me this winter, so be nice. Wine

I dont think Im going to make it...really would in a heart beat but im going to be there about a week right after you guys leave. Its more time than anyone should be in Vegas....im done with the place in about two full days.

I've been to Vegas 3 times in my life and always ended up just taking advantage of the weather and getting some good running in for a couple of days. By day 3, I am ready to leave as well.

I just decided that this really isn't about Vegas....the event is actually 6 miles South of the strip anyway. It is more about meeting some of these misfits that are posting on boards such as these and maybe finding that new tool that makes my life easier.

Networking matters in business and you just never know when that contact will become valuable to your future.

Well, that and the half-naked show girls. Very Happy

I really want to go, I hope Davey can go as well, that way I can hitch a ride with him instead of flying or driving there by myself, I'll confirm by the end of next month.

Lol, ok, I'm almost sure I'm going, I also am pretty sure I can get a 3 bedrooms condo 2 - 3 blocks from south point hotel from my time share, I offered Dave one bedroom and I take one bedroom, there is the 3rd bedroom available for anyone interested, the living room also has a pull out queen bed if anyone don't mind sleeping in the living room, the unit comes furnished with full kitchen including dishes and silverware and oven and gas barbecue in the patio, the complex also has heated pool open all year round ( most Vegas hotels pools are closed in the winter ).
Let me know asap, I need to book in the next couple of days.

Oh, since Dave is not 100% sure if he's going or not, I'm also uncertain if I'm going to fly or drive, does anyone plan on renting a car ?

Haven't considered the rental car yet, I normally like to walk it in Vegas, but maybe we would be too far away from the strip for walking.

That would probably be the best option Devon, I don't see myself going far from the hotel too often.....dinner would probably be about it.

There is a shuttle that runs around the strip for like $3 bucks all night long as well.

We would usually do the trade show then head out for dinner then goof around casinos, if we ever got out of the restaurant. Wink

Devon will you be at the International Surface Expo in Vegas? That one will be held on the same dates as The ICE Expo

Great Mo, glad to hear it...I will probably stay until Saturday or even Sunday. I really don't have to rush home and I suspect the weather will be better in Vegas.
