keeping heat up with little giant for upholstery
anyone use a LG?
any techniques for keeping the heat high while cleaning upholstery? we dont use enough water doing upholstery so the solution in the line gets cold
sometimes keep a bucket close by to bleed out the cold water, but just was wondering the other day while cleaning a couch what other cleaners do.
thanks!

If you want to keep your same upholster tool the easiest method is to put a 'T' piece between the solution hose and the upholstery tool.
Now you have two outlets for your hot water, one goes to the tool the other dumps into the vacuum hose. Best to put a shut off valve on the line that dumps to vacuum hose so you can control flow.

awsome thanks, I knew there had to be a better way.
so a tool like the saffire does this automatically to keep heat up? I always thought it just had a flow/ pressure control on it

Re: keeping heat up with little giant for upholstery
those tools have like a "rolling" water bar.....they dont "spray"
so the vacuum keeps it moving....
then you turn the valve off if you want to do a dry stroke...or release the handle in the case of sapphire

Re: keeping heat up with little giant for upholstery
I see but no return line that keeps water flowing so it stays hot?
Re: keeping heat up with little giant for upholstery
its called continual flow....
but no mess...
only time you need to turn it off is if or when you do a dry stroke....no on for 2 secs off...
turn it on clean the coushin, or section of couch with it on....then off to dry it....
trust me it will work

Always!! I have the opposite prob as you, too much heat sometimes!ACpower1 wrote:I see but no return line that keeps water flowing so it stays hot?
I use the DriMaster, and never have to trigger spray or make a dry pass. One pass high heat cleaning all day long. Time to update!

definitely time to update, just never looked into these tools closely... thought it was just adjustable pressure.
Re: keeping heat up with little giant for upholstery

You really appreciate not having to pull a trigger and continuous hot water.

Talking about time to update Davey. I'm still cleaning upholstery with my 3 gallon spotter with no heat:cry:

Click on the little icon next to the one that looks like a TV in the tool bar. When you hover over it it will say hose and image, the diologue box will pop up, browse for the pic you want on your hard drive and them click host it, then copy the URL, right click on the body of your message and paste.

Yea really, it sure would be nice if it were easier on this forum huh?!Joe Bristor wrote:
fudge... I give up trying to post a friggen picture.
I've participated on prob at least 2 dozen forums over the last 10 yrs, and this one tanks the cake for PITA pic posting! :albino:
Mo, is it's possible to make it less impossible to post pics on this forum, or at least streamline the process somehow?
