I don't normally work on Sundays, but there was catfish tournament in my area last night and I was asked to clean 4 boats.  Not really my kind of thing, but I don't have any work scheduled for a couple of days so I accepted.  Then I see by the forecast that it will be raining and upper 90's all week, so I decided to get it done today.

Kind of nasty work since they all like to use pigs blood and stink baits, but marine carpet is so forgiving to clean.  Just crank up the pressure and went at with my stair tool.  Procyon + OSR and it was like new again.  They were very pleased and I was a bit surprised how well that Procyon did.  So much so that I ended up using up the jug on my car's interior.

Mind you, I am a pig when it comes to my beater car.  My passenger side was covered in garbage of all types and there were plenty of coffee spills, soda, mustard, etc. on both the seats and flooring.  Even the softball team spilled a jug of Ruby Lemonade a week ago on the floor.  It is one of the joys of a beater car, you just don't care.

Despite the challenges, Procyon + OSR knocked it right out with just the Sapphire tool.  I was really impressed and must say that using that combination on auto or marine upholstery is the way to go.  Simply great results.

I know, I expected that, but it was super glue. I wasn't going to waste my time trying.

That combination really did well today. I was not as big of fan on other jobs, but it kicked butt on everything today.

Yes, OSR is a peroxide base (Odor, Stain, Remover). The same thing as "Miracle".

You may already know this, but super glue's weakness is acetone or nail polish remover. But the problem might just be the fabric my have a weakness for acetone. laughing
I'd try it on my own seat though, and just go easy with it, like you would using a Q-tip to apply it.

It is a good suggestion and if this was for a customer, I would give it a try. This is my POS and it has enough rust and hail damage that the spot on the seat the least of its worries. Razz

I gravitated away from procyon for one re supply and Im going right back.. only reason was the supplier for it is Rotovac in Redmond, WA and couldnt make the drive.   Biggest thing I noticed compared to others is it mixes so much better and performs so much better with any peroxide products whether its OSR or liquid peroxide.

I also for the first time noticed some slight affects from using other stuff,     it was pretty minor but definitely felt a bit funny after about 2 weeks of using it everyday.

procyon has its limits but I feel its the best safe product on the market right now,    once its mixed with OSR/miracle and scrubbed in the results really will surprise you on some nasty carpet.

I think in the past I have been slight affected by chems but I was too young to really pay attention and notice.      Your body will flush it out but that process takes a lot of energy from you and is proven to lower your testosterone while raising estrogen.        Switching to something safer you might notice yourself needing less coffee in the morning and having a lot more energy.

I do agree that it mixes very well and does respond to oxidizers better than most products. The reactivity is just far greater than with other presprays. Normally, I used 3 scoops of OSR to my hydro-force of Extreme Clean, but anything more than 2 scoops with Procyon and you get a volcano.

You do have to watch that chemical sensitivity, it really does matter. I remember an auto body painter years ago being shown a new respirator and he scoffed at it until the conducted a test.

They attached a sensor on the index finger of his left hand and dipped the index finger of his right hand into a glass of acetone. The sensor detected it in less than 12 seconds......he wore respirators ever since.

Just grabbed 50lbs from rotovac on friday. Such a good deal, 189.00 for a huge box full.

4 scoups in the hydro force plus 2 osr/miracle, unless its a pet job then 4 scoups or 6 if its really bad.

I used the procyon friday, saturday and all day today. Compared to flex, which of course is much stronger, the procyon mixes with 1 shake of the bottle and stays mixed.

From my saturday job the stuff was still completely diluted this morning.
